Vindicators: The massive ensemble cast of Vindicators has cast even more actors opposite Mark Wahlberg's lead role with the additions of Bruce Dern (Kurt & Courtney: All Apologies, Beartown), Angourie Rice (Death of a Comic, The Last of the Mohicans), Penn Badgley ("You", Here Today), Rashida Jones (Burnt Dreams, Blue Ridge) and Wolfgang Novogratz (Tarot, Feel the Beat). The original superhero film is being directed by Graham Moore from a script by Jimmy Ellis.

Anarchy: Allison Janney (Bad Dreams Come True, A Life), Billy Crudup (Malik, Natural Selection) and Zoe Terakes (Talk to Me, "Wentworth") have joined Anarchy from writer Alex Conn and director Mike Mills. Janney will play the principal of the private school setting, Crudup will play a professor, while Terakes will play a student rival to the main character played by Dominic Sessa. 

Scrappy: Writer Jacob Jones (Acapella, Tara's World) has a new animated film due out for release in early Season 31 titled Scrappy. Dwayne Johnson (Kazaria: Burns of the Lavita, The Fall Guy: Trouble in Tahiti) will lead the voice cast as a squirrel tired of his humdrum life. Kevin Hart (Borderlands, Lift), Kristen Schaal (Bill & Ted Face the Music, My Spy: The Eternal City) and Denis Leary (Freaks of Nature, The Amazing Spider-Man) will lend their voices to other characters in the film - a neighborhood dog, an optimistic squirrel, and a short-tempered rabbit, respectively. Chris Wedge (Monster Trucks, Epic) has been hired to direct the animated adventure.

Baby Teeth: Margot Robbie (Man Made Machine, Home Before Dark) has signed on to star in yet another novel adaptation, this time Baby Teeth, based on the novel by Zoje Stage. She will play a mother who begins to believe her daughter is a psychopath. Jack O'Connell (Resident Evil 5, Photographs) will star opposite Robbie as her husband, who sees nothing wrong with their daughter. Olivia Wilde (The Saints, Don't Worry Darling) has signed on to direct the film from an adaptation by Rosie JoLove (The Ninth Hour, In Five Years).

Ocean Pawn: Writer Jack Ryder (Amnesiac, The ComeBack) has another original superhero film in the works, this time an underwater epic about a civilization of merfolk getting ready for war. Marisa Abela ("Industry", Back to Black) will headline as a mermaid warrior, Charlie Hunnam (Norse: Valhalla, Antarctica) will play her mentor, while James Spader (Stepford, Walker) will play their king. Steven S. DeKnight (Pacific Rim: Uprising, "Jupiter's Legacy") has been hired to direct the film.

At Night All Blood Is Black: Damson Idris (Outside the Wire, "Snowfall") has been cast as the main character in At Night All Blood Is Black. He will play a young Senegalese soldier who descends into madness during World War I. Micheal Ward (The Omen,  Empire of Light) will play his childhood friend who fights along him in the war. Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese (This Is Not a Burial It's a Resurrection, For Those Whose God Is Dead) as been tapped direct the film. Based on the novel by French author David Diop, the script was penned by Jimmy Ellis (The Final Will, Thorne).
