In Development

The Question: Dark Tomorrow: Peter Stormare ("LA to Vegas", John Wick: Chapter 2) and Kevin Pollak (War Dogs, Special Correspondents) will both make their LRF debut as they fill out the cast of The Question: Dark Tomorrow. Stormare will play a crime lord, while Pollak will play a big supporter of the Hub City mayor. Nicolas Winding Refn directs from a D.R. Cobb script.

Strangers Friends: Ian Somerhalder ("The Vampire Diaries", The Anomaly), Amber Tamblyn (Girlfriend's Day, Nostalgia) and Lily-Rose Depp (Yoga Hosers, Planetarium) have signed on to Strangers Friends from writer Emily Glass and director Ana Lily Amirpour. Somerhalder and Tamblyn will play newlyweds at the central dinner party, while Depp will play the daughter of Morena Baccarin and Billy Crudup.

Dishonest: Fan Bingbing (Eclipse, Skiptrace), Brandon Routh (Share, "Legends of Tomorrow"), Mads Mikkelsen (The Question, Blood Countess) and Jamie Foxx (Hunt, Baby Driver) have joined Ryan Coogler and Jack Ryder's anticipated espionage thriller Dishonest. Bingbing will play a spy, Routh will play a high ranking officer, Mikkelsen will play a general and Foxx will play an intimidating figure in the region.

Nocturne: Reese Witherspoon ("Big Little Lies", A Wrinkle in Time) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye, Atlas Shrugged) have signed on to headline Nocturne, a supernatural thriller from director Reed Morano (Meadowland, "The Handmaid's Tale") and writer Clive Steinbeck. Witherspoon will play a child psychiatrist and Renner will play a detective investigating the mysterious disappearance of a young girl.

Cape Torment: Michael Mann (Public Enemies, Collateral) has signed on to direct Cape Torment for Last Resort Films, based on a script by Mo Buck (Halo 2, Lullabies for Little Criminals). Benedict Cumberbatch (Jack the Ripper, Solution), Kate Winslet (Wonder Wheel, The Mountain Between Us) and David Harbour (Displacement, Salem's Lot) have all joined the film which is a crime drama set in Quebec. Cumberbatch will play a jeweler who decides to try to kill his wife, Harbour will play his best friend, and Winslet will play Harbour's wife.

Mass Effect: Cerberus:
The Mass Effect series is officially spinning off from the main plotlines with Mass Effect: Cerberus, which will detail the Cerberus organization and the Ascension Project, to modify soldiers. Bradley Cooper (Paradise Lost, True West) and Cate Blanchett (Guilt, An Honest Mistake) will headline the project. Alfonso Cuaron (Gravity, Children of Men) will direct from a script by Seth Overton (Mass Effect, American Outlaws).
