Purgatorio: Frank Dillane (Paradise Lost, "Fear the Walking Dead"), Margaret Qualley (Paradise Lost, Halo 2) and Kate Mara (V, Fantastic Four) have joined the expansive cast of Purgatorio, the sequel to the Season 3 hit Inferno. Dillane and Qualley will surprisingly reprise their roles from the Season 1 blockbuster Paradise Lost, Adam and Eve. Meanwhile, Kate Mara has been cast as a woman who comes to Dante's aid. Tom Tykwer directs from a Mo Buck script.
Hated: The Ballad of GG Allin: Addison Timlin ("StartUp", Submission), Ashley Rickards (Behaving Badly, "Awkward") and Willow Shields (Tumulus, the upcoming Sisters) have all joined Tom Hardy in the GG Allin biopic. Rickards will play a woman Allin is briefly married to before he really builds up his persona, Shields will play a teenage girl he begins a relationship with, and Timlin will play a woman Allin has an aggressive sexual encounter with that gets him in trouble with the law. Todd Phillips directs from a script by Billy Armstrong.
A Farewell to Arms: Leslie Manville (Maleficent, Phantom Thread) and Mark Rylance (Salem's Lot, Ready Player One) will round out the cast of Joe Wright's A Farewell to Arms. Rylance will play a doctor and Manville will play a hospital superintendent. Chad Taylor wrote the script based on Ernest Hemingway's World War I romance novel.
The Question: Dark Tomorrow: All of the the returning cast members will find some new actors on set with the additions of Kyle Chandler ("Bloodline", The Informers) and Hugh Grant (Florence Foster Jenkins, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.) to the sequel to The Question. Chandler will play Izzy O'Toole, one of the only honest cops in Hub City. Grant will play Royal Dinsmore, a crooked businessman running for mayor. Nicolas Winding Refn directs from a script by D.R. Cobb.
Strangers Friends: Dominic Cooper (Stratton, "Preacher"), Rosamund Pike (Nation's Pride, Entebbe) and Jason Segel (The End of the Tour, The Discovery) will play fellow guests to a dinner party that gets extremely uncomfortable in Ana Lily Amirpour's Strangers Friends. Cooper and Pike will play a married couple, while Segel will play a long time bachelor. Emily Glass wrote the script.
Dishonest: Michael B. Jordan (Creed, Black Panther), Alicia Vikander (Tomb Raider, Gorky Park), Clive Owen (Halo, Green Arrow) have signed on to the film Dishonest, set in a world of constant war and espionage. Ryan Coogler (Creed, Black Panther) directs from a script by Jack Ryder (The Life Ahead, Marvelous).
