In Development

Atlantic City: Michael Madsen (Last Rites, The Hateful Eight), Vincent Piazza (Hawkeye, The Intervention) and David Harbour (Cape Torment, Purgatorio) will all join Taylor Kitsch and Elizabeth Olsen in James Gray's Atlantic City. Madsen will play a gangster Kitsch owes a $25,000 gambling debt to, Piazza will play a drug dealer, and Harbour will play a gambler.

To the White Sea: Cameron Monaghan ("Shameless", "Gotham") and Garrett Dillahunt (Braven, Wheelman) have both signed on to small roles in Andrew Dominik's To the White Sea. They are the only speaking roles in the film other than Alden Ehrenreich's lead character.

Neuromancer: Justin Timberlake (Wonder Wheel, Inside Llewyn Davis), Selena Gomez (A View from the Bridge, The Banded Ants) and Corey Hawkins (Kong: Skull Island, Straight Outta Compton) have been cast in the long-awaited Neuromancer from acclaimed music video director Joseph Kahn. Timberlake will play Peter Riviera: thief, actor, and drug addict. Gomez will play Lady 3Jane, the current leader of a company running a resort in space. Hawkins will play Maelcum, a Rastafari pilot.

The Beatles: Ron Howard (Rush, In the Heart of the Sea) has been hired to direct a film biopic of the the band The Beatles. Leading the cast as the bandmates will be Daniel Radcliffe (Swiss Army Man, Imperium) as John Lennon, Harry Styles (Welcome to Paradise, Dunkirk) as Paul McCartney, Fionn Whitehead (Dunkirk, The Children Act) as George Harrison and Craig Roberts (The Fundamentals of Caring, "Red Oaks") as Ringo Starr. Chad Taylor wrote the script to the film, which will feature several of the band's hit songs.

Resident Evil: James Wan (Furious 7, The Conjuring 2) will attempt to reboot the Resident Evil film series for Last Resort Films, which will reportedly be closer to the games than Paul WS Anderson's previous series. Saoirse Ronan, Jack O'Connell and Ben Foster are set to headline the film. Ronan will play Jill Valentine, O'Connell will play Chris Redfield and Foster will play Albert Wesker, all members of the STARS police force. Carl Flimmer (Planet LV 426) wrote the film.

Death and All His Friends Part II: Christian Bale (Delaware, Death and All His Friends), Christoph Waltz (Spectre, Death and All His Friends), Uma Thurman (Burnt, Death and All His Friends), Samuel L. Jackson (Share, Death and All His Friends) and Zoe Saldana (Steins Gate, Death and All His Friends) are all set to return for the sequel to Quentin Tarantino's Death and All His Friends.
