Booster Gold: Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick, Animus), Lee Pace (Inhumans, "Halt and Catch Fire") and John Travolta (Life on the Line, In a Valley of Violence) will round out the cast of the upcoming DC Comics film Booster Gold. Nanjiani will voice a robot, Pace will play a government bureaucrat and Travolta will have a cameo as former US President Bill Clinton. Phil Lord and Chris Miller are directing the project from a script by Chad Taylor.
The Life of the Party: The large ensemble of Steven Spielberg's Fatty Arbuckle film has finished casting with the additions of Richard Dreyfuss (Red, Tumulus), Clark Gregg ("Agents of SHIELD", Live by Night), Cristin Milioti (The Wolf of Wall Street, Nocturne), Stephen Root (Get Out, Spectral), Amelia Warner (The Echo, The Seeker) and Ari Graynor ("I'm Dying Up Here", The Disaster Artist). Dreyfuss will play opportunistic San Francisco District Attorney Matthew Brady, Gregg will play Arbuckle's top flight attorney, Milioti will play Arbuckle's estranged wife, Root will play a judge, while Graynor and Warner will play witnesses. Lon Charles wrote the script.
Lucky Luke and Calamity Jane: Gwendoline Christie ("Game of Thrones", Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and Sam Elliott (The Hero, "The Ranch") are the only new additions to the latest Lucky Luke adventure. Christie will play Calamity Jane and Elliott will play a small town sheriff. Taika Waititi directs from a script by Harry Wright.
Atlantic City: Taylor Kitsch ("Waco", Hawkman) and Elizabeth Olsen (The Prisoner, Wind River) are set to headline a crime drama about a couple who head to Atlantic City in a last ditch effort to repay some gambling debts to the mob. James Gray (The Lost City of Z, The Immigrant) will direct the project from a script by Lon Charles.
Neuromancer: A long awaited adaptation of William Gibson's acclaimed cyberpunk novel Neuromancer is finally set to hit the big screen. Joseph Kahn (Detention, Bodied) is set to direct the project from a script by Mark Newton (Synthetic, Masters of the Universe). Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Synthetic, Missoula), Kristen Stewart (Lizzie, Personal Shopper) and Ethan Hawke (Welcome to Paradise, The Magnificent Seven) will star in the film. Gordon-Levitt will play Case, a computer hacker. Stewart will play Molly Millions, a "razorgirl" with extensive cybernetic modifications. Meanwhile, Hawke will play Armitage, a former military officer who offers Case a job.
To the White Sea: Alden Ehrenreich (The Cry of the Owl, Flicker) is set to star in the latest film from writer John Malone (The Prisoner, V), an adaptation of the James Dickey novel To the White Sea. Andrew Dominik (Killing Them Softly, White Jazz) will direct the film which sees Ehrenreich play a US Air Force airman shot down over Japan during World War II.
