The film is being partially filmed in Detroit, Michigan in order to secure Eminem's services as he refuses to appear in movies not shot in the city.
Paradiso: The finale of the Divine Comedy trilogy has added Edie Falco ("Law & Order True Crime", "Nurse Jackie"), Aaron Eckhart (Incarnate, Displacement), Guy Pearce (Six Billion Dollar Man, Equals) and Tim Roth (Guilt, Into Thin Air) to its ensemble. This film will see Dante (James Franco) trying to complete his journey through the various levels of the afterlife. Tom Tykwer is directing once again from a script by Mo Buck.
Stained: One of the season's most anticipated dramas is finally getting in front of cameras, Stained, from writer Lon Charles (Deprogramming, Bad Education) and director Craig Gillespie (The Finest Hours, I, Tonya). The film will depict the affair between President Bill Clinton and intern Monica Lewinsky and the ensuing scandal. Matthew McConaughey (True West, Bad Education) and Bel Powley (Wilding, Mary Shelley) have already been announced as Clinton and Lewinsky respectively. They will be joined by Naomi Watts (Jack the Ripper, The Book of Henry), who has been cast as First Lady Hillary Clinton. Sarah Paulson (Hellraiser, Doppelganger) was originally cast in the role, but dropped out of the project due to creative differences with the filmmakers.
Riot Love: Director Lynne Ramsay (The Life Ahead, You Were Never Really Here) has agreed to direct another drama from writer Jack Ryder (Numero Uno, Standing Back). David Harbour ("Stranger Things", Cape Torment) will play her older brother who is in prison after being convicted of the crime. Caleb Landry Jones (Blood Countess, Batman: Gotham Knight) has also signed onto the film as the leader of a so-called "Murder Club" that wants to hear Libby's story. Cary Fukunaga (Fevre Dream, Atlas Shrugged) will direct the film based on a script by H.G. Hansen (Looking for Alaska).
