Texas Rangers: The impressive ensemble of Texas Rangers from director Scott Cooper and writer John Malone continues to grow. Bill Pullman (The Equalizer 2, "The Sinner"), Madelaine Petsch (Ringer, Batman: Gotham Knight) and Asa Butterfield (The Space Between Us, Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children) have joined the currently filming western. Pullman will play the Governor of Texas, Petsch will play the daughter of a rancher, and Butterfield will play a teenager who latches on with the Rangers.

Mortal Kombat: Many roles have already been announced for Gareth Evan's Mortal Kombat, but there are still some popular characters left. Tony Jaa (xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Furious 7), Donnie Yen (xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Yayan Ruhian (Beyond Skyline, The Raid 2) and Winston Duke ("Person of Interest", Black Panther) have rounded out the cast of the film as Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Kung Lao, and Jax, respectively. APJ and Chad Taylor wrote the script.

White Tiger: Last Resort Films' latest Marvel project, White Tiger, has added Matt Gerald (Rampage, Road Rash), Charlie Cox ("Daredevil", The Life Ahead) and Jason Isaacs (The Death of Stalin, "Star Trek: Discovery"). Gerald and Cox will reprise their roles from the "Daredevil" Netflix series, while Isaacs will play an FBI agent. Jack Ryder wrote the script.

The Lady in the Lake: The Coen Brothers' latest, an adaptation of Raymond Chandler's The Lady in the Lake, has cast Abbie Cornish (Silver Surfer, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri), Ed Helms (Tag, Delaware) and Bobby Cannavale (A View from the Bridge, Ant-Man). Helms will play a wealthy businessman who hires George Clooney's Philip Marlowe to find his wife, Cannavale will play a police officer, and Cornish will play a mysterious woman who plays a hand in Marlowe's investigation. Dwight Gallo penned the adaptation.

Mass Effect: Silent Assassins: A fan favorite from Mass Effect 2, Thane Krios, is now getting his own film. Mads Mikkelsen (Mass Effect 2, Dishonest) will reprise his role as the Drell assassin in a story that delves into his backstory. He will be joined by Rosamund Pike (Nation's Pride, Strangers Friends) as his wife. Duncan Jones (Mute, V) is set to direct the project from a script by Seth Overton (Mass Effect 2, Made in Abyss).

The Death of the Honest Man: Colin Farrell (Doppelganger, Dead Space) is set to re-team with director Yorgos Lanthimos (The Lobster, The Killing of a Sacred Deer) for the third time on Dominic Wilkins' (Shake Hands with the Devil, Halo: ODST) latest film. He will play a successful traveling salesman with some personal problems. Kristen Wiig (Mother!, Downsizing) will play his wife, Keira Knightley (Inhumans, Collateral Beauty) will play a potential customer,while Ellen Page (Flatliners, Freeheld) will play a former client.
