Plot: We see Hector Ayala (Benicio del Toro) in the court of Judge Carter Blaire (Ted Danson) on-trial for the murder of Police Officer John Smith (Josh Charles). Representing him is Attorney Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) while representing the state is Bernadette Rosenthal (Ali Larter), in the audience sits Hector's niece Angela Del Toro (Eiza Gonzalez).
Hector starts his defense by publicly revealing that he is White Tiger which shocks everybody in the court except of Matt, we see a montage of White Tiger defeating criminals with narration from Ayala. Bernadette refutes his claims by saying White Tiger was never confirmed to be a real vigilante and even if he was his last seen rumor was over 12 months back. Hector explains the absence while judge Blaire keenly listens. Ayala explains when he started his run as White Tiger, he forgot about his other life and spend endless days and night as the White Tiger trying to help the people but he didn't knew that the things which gave him this power also made him addicted to it's power and he always wanted to exert that power which made him a liability and a incident in his home helped him quit the mantle. After this much time he finally gave in and put on his suit again on the dreaded night. Ayala then describes the night of murder. He was patrolling but got heavily drunk as he couldn't keep his own promise to keep away from the vigilante life when he heard noises from a nearby electronic store where he saw two masked men struggling with Officer Smith before he moved towards them to help him, Officer Smith is shot and then intoxicated Ayala fights with the two men who best him and put the gun in his hand and when he came out of the shop to call for help, police were surrounding the premises and arrested him. That day session ended with this.
Angela meets with Agent Coville (Jason Isaacs) and tells him what happened in the court and they both go to meet Hector who is with Matt. Hector reveals it was Matt idea that he tells every part of his story to the court. Angela is furious with Hector that he didn't tell her about him being a vigilante. Angela reveals they are trying to take over the investigations and ask for more details from Hector who tells them that they two men look like part of some Yakuza.
Angela and Coville starts rounding up all the small time Yakuza criminals so they reveal something while Matt Murdock visit some known Bars with connections to Yakuza to search for any evidence where he meets with Sano Orii (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa) who was a boxer in his prime and now have some shady links with mafia. Matt ruffles some feather of Sano by mentioning the Ayala case and leaves. Sano goes in the office of the Bar and informs the mysterious person there about events that just happened. The person reveals himself to be Alexander Bont (Ed Harris) who relaxes Sano by saying this things are small hiccups in their path back to glory.
On the next day, Bernadette reveals that there was no proof of two other men there and starts using day 1 revelations of Hector against him saying that the addiction to exert power was the reason he killed that officer. After some strong points from Bernadette dejects Hector at which point that day session ends.
Hector doesn't want to listen to the advise from Matt and asks for alone time with Angelo who says that their blood relation is acting as a problem in the way of them taking over the investigations. Hectors ignores all the talk and asks Angelo to make a promise to him to which Angela agrees, He asks Angelo to steal his belongings from the evidence and keep them. His belongings contains a Locket which he wants her to keep it and he believes time will tell when she will be able to know it's true ability. After some persuasion Angelo says she will break in and steal his belongings.
That night Angelo and Coville break in the station keeping the belongings of Hector, Coville provides distraction while Angela steals Hectors belongings. After coming back she checks the belongings to find Hector's superhero costume and amulets in shape of Tiger head and claws, Angelo keeps them. Matt Murdock once again visits the same bar and interacts with some other people in the bar which catches the eye of Sano, who goes back to Alexander in rage and says that they have to be careful as this same lawyer put Wilson Fisk behind the bars to which Bont replies that they should be thanking him for that. He created this power vacuum which we will take and I will again be known as the Kingpin. I was the real Kingpin, Fisk and all the other are mere shadows of me, they just took advantage of a situation to jump ahead and push me back like how I will retake my position. Sano sees the rage rising in Bont as he talks. Bont reassures Sano that he is taking steps to take care of Matt Murdock.
In the third day of session, Bernadette starts attacking Hector on personal notes with his failed marriage that ended very badly. She thinks his addiction was also the reason behind it. She says Hector is a man who has no control of himself and should be behind bars to which Murdock tries to defend Hector saying all the good he has done to the society by protecting the streets when the big guys where not there to help the common people after Murdock ramblings Judge Blaire stops him and asks how is this good work when the Hector himself is a picture of Law breaking not registering with the government according to Sokovia Accords he promotes vigilantism, he thinks he can take law in his own hands and he is projecting that image on everyone else that they should arm themselves and come to the streets and when the Judge brings up his failed marriage as evidence of Hector lack of character, Hector loses it and goes on a rant that the system will not help poor people like him who work everyday to make a living, the system will just try to put them down after some more rants he realizes that he come out of his cabin and is near the judge in aggressive stance and everyone is shouting at him to calm down but when he turns back he is shot by a police officer who was thrown down by hector when he was in his rant mode. Angela and Murdock faces can't understand the horror that happened before their eyes. Angela runs towards Hector who whispers that he will be with her always with the Tiger.
Angela sitting in her house waiting for Coville checks the amulets once again and wears them which gave her some surreal feelings. Agent Coville enters her house in full tactical gear saying that they are a go to which Angela also gets ready in a tactical suit. They both with a team surround a warehouse with rumors that it's used by Yakuza for their criminal activities. Coville asks Angela if she is ready for this to which Angela orders the team to shoot at sight. They attack the warehouse and shoots every Yakuza present there, The warehouse was being used to produce drugs but Angela plants some false evidence to justify the encounter. After the encounter Angela tells Coville that she felt weird like Hector was watching her back. We see Murdock sneaking in the Electronics shop where Hector was arrested.
Murdock calls for urgent court proceedings to end the Hector case. Murdock gives how he respects their police force and the work they do but in the middle of it he turns sour saying that some bad apples are bringing down the whole force name down. He brings up a video from the night of the accident which clearly shows what Hector was telling was the truth. He says that he got the recording from a camcorder which was blissfully recording the proceedings but he is ashamed to say that this was easily available to anybody but the police didn't check for it as they were trying to help the criminals get away. Judge Blaire clears Hector of any charges posthumously and instructs investigation on the police officers who investigated this case. Angela thanks Murdock.
Sano and Bont are discussing that trying to deal with a cop who was going to blow the lid on them has totaly backfired on them. Sano is enraged when he gets confirmation that last night destruction of his enterprise was lead by Angela and Coville, he wants revenge and they both agree that they should try to close the loose ends and Sano will take care of Angela and Coville and Bont will take care of Matt Murdock. Angela and Coville are celebrating in a drive in when two cars stop near them and starts shooting at them. Coville is shot and Angela is also cornered then she sees Hector who asks her to believe in her self and the amulet. Angela feels a surge in herself and starts thing more clearly and when the shooters come near them she fights them and slowly take care of them. After beating them with her new found powers of strength, speed and agility she keeps one alive and asks his boss name to which he replies Sano Orii.
We see Matt Murdock walking in a deserted alley when he is blindsided by Melvin Potter/Guardian (Matt Gerald). After waking up he sees himself tied and gagged in a dungeon with Alexander Bont and Potter in front of him. Alexander rumbles at Matt saying he should have kept himself away from this case. He orders Potter to torture Matt and leaves. Potter starts torturing Matt.
Sano barges in Bont office, to see it's empty. He starts packing his stuff after some time Bont comes back and seeing this asks what happened. Sano replies her attack on Angela failed and now she knows that he is behind it and any minute she can barge in with a team to put this place down. Bont is little worried but thinks he is not in danger and won't have to leave this town like Sano has to and let's Sano leaves on a condition that his men would stay here to protect him.
After a few minutes Sano comes breaking the roof glass in a very bad shape. When they see above they see White Tiger(Angela in a modified Hectors costume), she jumps in and starts taking down Bont and Orii men. Bont locks himself up in his office. Angela after taking down the pawns breaks in Bont's office and starts mercilessly beating him. Mid fight Bont starts laughing and says that she can't protect anybody not Hector, Not Coville to which Angela gets angry and start throwing him around while Bont finishes his sentence saying not even Matt Murdock to which she stops and ask what about him. Bont reveals that he is in his capture and will die soon enough, he will tell Angela Matt location if she spares him. After promising that and knowing Matt's location Angela goes to give the killing blow to Bont but sees Hector who persuades her to not do it.
Angela comes to the location and sees Potter and starts fighting him, Matt loses his gag and ask both of them to stop. A surprised Angela stops, Matt tries to calm down Potter by saying that he knows that he is not a bad man and if Betsy is in danger they can help. Potter realizes who he is talking to and runs out. Angela unchains Matt and was going to go for Potter to which Matt stops her and asks her to let him go. Angela goes back to the Yakuza bar to see that both Bont and Orii has escaped.
Angela returns to her duty in day she protects the city as a FBI agent and in night as White Tiger.

Angela is in her house when doorbell rings and when she opens it she finds Aya Ayala (Victoria Justice) at her doorstep. They both just stare at each other, after a minute the luggage carrier (Stan Lee) breaks the silence by saying move aside I need to keep them somewhere.
