In Development

Paradiso: The finale of Mo Buck's acclaimed Divine Comedy Trilogy has added Bill Pullman (The Equalizer 2, Ranger), Michael Cera ("Arrested Development", Molly's Game) and the great John Malkovich (Mile 22, The Question: Dark Tomorrow), in his first non-The Question series films for Last Resort Films, in supporting roles. Tom Tykwer is directing once again.

Stained: The highly anticipated Clinton sex scandal film from writer Lon Charles and director Craig Gillespie has added some talented character actors to its cast in the form of Allison Tolman (Bad Education, The House), Paul Giamatti ("Billions", 2060), Andre Braugher (Looking for Alaska, Mass Effect: Cerberus) and Mandy Patinkin ("Homeland", Wonder). Tolman will portray Linda Tripp, Giamatti will portray President Clinton's lawyer Ken Starr, Braugher will portray an advisor to Clinton, and Patinkin will portray Monica Lewinski's lawyer William Ginsburg.

Riot Love: The latest collaboration between director Lynne Ramsay and writer Jack Ryder has added some familiar faces. Sophia Bush (The Life Ahead, The Narrows) and Jack Ryder favorite Brandon Routh (Dishonest, Share) have joined the film. They will play friends of the main characters (played by Charlie Cox and Alison Brie).

Dark Places: H.G. Hansen's adaptation of Gillian Flynn's novel Dark Places has recently been undergoing some rewrites as it enters production. This hasn't stopped the production from continuing the casting process. Dominique McElligott ("House of Cards", "The Last Tycoon"), Morena Baccarin (Deadpool 2, Strangers Friends), Taylor Kitsch (Scion, Revolution) and Josh Hartnett (Pudd'nhead Wilson, "Penny Dreadful") have signed onto the Cary Fukuaga-helmed project.

Mr. Big: Completed before his supposed retirement, the latest film from writer James Morgan (High Society, Into Thin Air), is beginning production. Bradley Cooper (Life on Mars, True West), Jessica Chastain (Molly's Game, The Prisoner) and Al Pacino (A View from the Bridge, Phil Spector) will star in the crime drama which has tapped Kathryn Bigelow (Detroit, Zero Dark Thirty) to direct.

The Carpet Makers: Colin Farrell (Dead Space, Doppelganger) and Joaquin Phoenix (Trip, Home Again) have been cast to lead a trippy sci-fi film from director Bong Joon-ho (Okja, Snowpiercer) and writer Seth Overton (Made in Abyss, Mass Effect 2). Based on the novel by German writer Andreas Eschbach, the story depicts a carpet maker, played by Farrell, set on a planet whose sole industry is weaving elaborate rugs.
