The Terminal Spy: Bruce Campbell (Eleanor & Park, No Laughing Matter), Danny Pudi (Somebody I Used to Know, "Mythic Quest") and Russell Tovey ("Quantico", Love Again) are set to round out the cast of the true spy story, The Terminal Spy, telling the story of poisoned Russian intelligence officer Alexander Litvinenko. Campbell will play a doctor, Pudi a secret service agent and Tovey will play a former KGB agent. Paul Greengrass directs from a script by Eden Townsend. The film is based on the book by Alan Cowell.

The Deadliest Night in Show Business: More talents have signed on to play Hollywood legends in Rian Johnson's showbiz horror comedy. Melissa Benoist (Knievel, Rainbow Six) will play Ginger Rogers, Richard E. Grant (Carte Blanche, Wolf) will play Boris Karloff, Eli Roth (Pudd'nhead Wilson, Clown) will play Frank Capra, Alan Cumming (A Little Life, Still Lives) will play Charlie Chaplin and Jeremy Swift ("Ted Lasso", Gun Shy) will play Alfred Hitchcock. Two other actors will be reprising previous Marvel Universe roles with Robert Patrick (Fantastic Four: Doom, Hunter) back as Admiral Westbrook and Ron Perlman (Spider-Man, Odysseus - Part One) back as J. Jonah Jameson. Leigh Whannell directs from a script by HG Hansen.

Van Damme, Regan and Elwes will play villainous roles, while Brosnan is set to play the commanding officer of the team of heroes. Ilya Naishullers directs from a script by Chad Taylor and APJ. Zack Snyder is serving as a producer on the project.

Particle: George Clooney will have company in his LRF Marvel Universe debut as Hank Pym. The Roundup with Jeff Stockton (Season 26 Round 9)

Green Lantern Corps: Sinestro War saves the round (and then some) after a couple flops before it. Here's The Roundup....

3. Tom Cruise
Does anyone have a stronger box office record in LRF than Tom Cruise? His movies tend to make money - and usually a lot.

2. Box Office
While 2/3 films lost money at the box office, GLC: Sinestro War made enough money to make the round still an overwhelming success.

1. Green Lantern Corps: Sinestro War
This movie earned its money with compelling characters and awesome action. Easily one of the best superhero movies in recent memory - in or out of LRF.

3. Zoe's Vegas
I appreciated that this one was a lot shorter than Zoe Maye (which was way too damn long), but I struggled to find any semblance of likability in the characters (a problem I had with the first film as well).

2. The Night Swim
This one just felt a bit uninspired to me. Also, is there any more obnoxious job to give your characters these days than podcaster (let alone true crime podcaster)? It's an instant eye-roller for me.

1. Box Office
Yes, GLC: Sinestro War made serious money for the studio, but it still never ideal for 2/3 films in a round to lose money. In fact, every round since Round 5 has had at least 2 of the 3 films released lose money, and it has been the case for 6 of this season's 9 rounds so far.

Box Office Facts
The Night Swim
You can add The Night Swim to the list of recent novel adaptations that have flopped at the box office.  Of the last 15 novel adaptations, dating back to Season 22, just two have managed to make a profit.

Zoe's Vegas
Director Judd Apatow is now just 50% at the box office. He has directed four films for the studio, with Zoe's Vegas being his second to money (making it two in a row as well following Corndog).

Green Lantern Corps: Sinestro War
Green Lantern Corps: Sinestro War is now the 2nd highest grossing film in LRF history. Not only that, but the film also bumped Carte Blanche out of the Top 10, making the Top 10 Highest Grossing Films list consist entirely of DC Comics Universe adaptations.

Reaction: Wow! Green Lantern Corps: Sinestro War has now just become the second highest grossing film in LRF history!

"A common complaint amongst LRF's massive stable of superhero flicks is that they do not have enough action (or a worthwhile adversary for their heroes). Sinestro War rectifies all of that, boldly showing that you do not need to wait for a traditional team-up film like Justice League or the Avengers to make an action epic on this scale. It certainly doesn't hurt that Green Lantern lore is rich with compelling visuals, character designs, and backstories." - Phil Silva, The Atlantic

"Green Lantern Corps: Sinestro War has everything you could ask for in a superhero or sci-fi blockbuster. The action is big and always serves the story, and the film is full of  cool and memorable moments that will have people talking after they leave the theater." - Mark Plainsview, ReelViews

"Tom Cruise leads this epic blockbuster comic book adaptation, which paints maybe the most visually specific and realized cosmic adventure in DC film history. I think that this is the rare superhero film that could be a serious player come GRA season. It may not be a perfect film, but it is pretty much a perfect blockbuster." - Reggie Dunn, Sacramento Bee

Rated PG-13 for intense sci-fi/superhero action and scenes of peril
