In #Trending, some of the trends the studio has noticed behind the scenes and around the office water coolers....
#GlenPowell
Not only does Glen Powell have his first big leading role in LRF to his name now with Captain America, but he also has multiple franchises in LRF now: Captain America/Marvel Universe, Gears of War and The Fall Guy. Due to these commitments, he has had to turn roles in several other upcoming films.
#MidBudgetMarvel
It would appear that writer Dwight Gallo has popularized the mid-budget Marvel film with his work on films like The Punisher and Red Wolf. Now other writers are starting to talk to the studio about following in his footsteps.
#NovelAdaptations
Even with the overwhelming trend in recent seasons of novel adaptations flopping with both critics and the box office alike, it hasn't slowed down the novel adaptation submissions to the studio offices much. The studio expects to release at least 10 novel adaptations over the next two seasons alone. However, that is pushing upcoming seasons toward the limit for adaptations vs. original stories.
#HorrorReboots
After the success of films like Friday the 13th and Krueger, it would now appear that more studio writers are proposing new reboots of classic horror franchises. Not many are complete yet, but there should be more news on this in the next few seasons. The studio has reportedly already been approached regarding reboots/remakes of The Omen, The Amityville Horror, Phantasm, The Entity, and others.
