The Devil's Run: Samara Weaving (The Brilliant Friend, Y: The Last Man - Part 2), Jurnee Smollett (Stepford, The Temptations) and Mark Boone Junior (The Gateway, Ida Red) have joined The Devil's Run, the conclusion of writer Jimmy Ellis' The Devil's Westerns trilogy. Weaving and Boone Junior will play bounty hunters in the film, while Smollett will play the wife of Mahershala Ali's Harry Holt. Lance Daly is once again directing, after working on the second film in the trilogy.
The Day: The Joel Kinnaman-led zombie film The Day will add Priyanka Chopra (God of War: Kratos, Tekken: Blood Feud), Camila Mendes (Booster Gold: Back In Time, "Riverdale") and Jes Macallan ("Legends of Tomorrow", "Mistresses") to its cast. Kinnman plays a business professional trapped in an elevator as a zombie apolcalypse rages around him. Alfonso Gomez-Rejon is directing from a script by Andrew Doster.
Fantastic Four and the Silver Surfer: More familiar faces are expected to return for the Fantastic Four and Silver Surfer team-up film as Orlando Bloom (Urban Cowboy, Fantastic Four: Doom), Aksel Hennie (The Fantastic Four, The Cloverfield Paradox), Arnold Vosloo (Kingmaker Chronicles, Silver Surfer) and Burn Gorman (Silver Surfer: The Power Cosmic, Gears of War) have all signed to reprise their previous Marvel Universe roles as Victor Von Doom, Annihilus, Galactus, and Uatu the Watcher, respectively. Gareth Edwards directs from a script by Mark Newton.
The Night Swim: Corey Stoll (Danelion, Triple Identity), Spencer Treat Clark (Glass, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story), Michael Sheen (The Arrival, Mass Effect: First Contact) and Cary Elwes (BlackBerry, Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre) have joined the thriller The Night Swim, based on the novel by Megan Goldin. Rene Menzie penned the adaptation, which Nia DaCosta is directing.
Zoe's Vegas: After the surprise success of Zoe Maye, Selena Gomez (Zoe Maye, Story of Sade) is officially back to reprise the title role in a sequel. Zac Efron (Supercrooks, Zoe Maye) is also back as Zoe's boyfriend. A new addition to the cast of this one will be Megan Fox (Inner Demons, The Crow: Wings of Isaiah) as a famous porn star. In this film, Zoe goes on a trip to Las Vegas after finishing college. Judd Apatow (Corndog, Zoe Maye) is back to direct, once again from a script by Jacob Jones (Tara's Web, The Saints).
Green Lantern Corps: Sinestro War: The Green Lantern Corps will finally be back on the big screen. Tom Cruise (Haven, Rodeo), John Boyega (Justice League Unlimited, The Crow: Wings of Isaiah), Luke Evans (The Betrothed, Mask of the Phantom), Carrie Coon (Collapse, Green Lantern Corps) and Cleopatra Coleman (Green Lantern Corps, Infinity Pool) have all signed on to return as Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Sinestro, Carrol Ferris, and Katma Tui, respectively. In this film, the GLC will wage war against an army Sinestro has built. Christopher McQuarrie (Mission: Impossible - Fallout, Green Lantern Corps) is once again directing from a script by APJ (Batgirl, Uncharted 4).
