In Development

The Incredible Shrinking Man: Meredith Eaton ("MacGyver", Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones) and Elisha Cuthbert (Alex + Ada, Zombieworld) will round out the cast of Jason Reitman's latest film, The Incredible Shrinking Man, based on a novel by Richard Matheson. Andrew Garfield is starring in the film, which was written by Billy Cruder.

Watch Dogs: The Gerard Butler-led video game adaptation Watch Dogs has filled up its cast with the additions of Halston Owen (Home Before Dark, "A Million Little Things"), Julian Hilliard (Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It), Tom Ellis (Excellent Women, Risico), Luke Grimes (He Kills, Aliens vs. Predator: The Long War) and Robert Wisdom (Friday the 13th, The Night Swim). Owen and Hilliard will play the children of Butler's character. Ellis and Grimes will play villains in the film, while Wisdom will play the crooked Mayor of Chicago. Neill Blomkamp directs from an adaptation by Joshua Collins.

The Spectre: Marlon Wayans (Air, The Curse of Bridge Hollow), Marton Csokas (God of War: Kratos, "Into the Badlands") and Heather Graham (SKin Tight, The Last Son) have joined Nicolas Cage in the dark superhero project, The Spectre. Wayans will play the partner of the detective played by Cage, while Graham will play Cage's wife. Csokas, meanwhile, will play the villain of the film - a brutal human trafficker who kills anyone who gets in the way of his enterprise. Michael Sarnoski directs the DC Comics adaptation from a script by John Malone.

The Actors: Alia Shawkat (The Black Cat, The Black Cat Strikes Again!), Krysten Ritter (Nightbooks, "Love & Death"), J.B. Smoove ("Curb Your Enthusiasm", Back on the Strip) and Odessa Young (Mothering Sunday, Shirley) will complete the cast of Alex Conn's latest directorial effort, the Broadway-set drama, The Actors. Shawkat and Ritter will play friends of the main character (played by Gillian Jacobs), Young will play a stripper, and Smoove will play a stand-up comedian.

Duke Nukem: John Cena (Rookie's Road, Zoe Maye) is set to headline an adaptation of the Duke Nukem video game series. In the film, the one-liner spouting action icon will be transported to our world by an alien force. Walker Scobell (The Passenger, Caesar Part III) will play a boy who recognizes Duke as a video game character and decides to help him get back to his world. Kate Hudson (Nineteen Minutes, The King of Hearts) will also take part in the project as Scobell's mother. Shane Black (How to Survive in Hell, Numero Uno) is set to direct the video game adaptation from a script by APJ (Swamp Thing 2, Batman: Knightfall) and Chad Taylor (Sam, Miracles), who previously teamed to write other video game adaptations for the studio, including Mortal Kombat, Wolfenstein and Twisted Metal.

The Lights: After taking a long break before returning last season for another round as Namor the Sub-Mariner, Alden Ehrenreich (Namor the Sub-Mariner: Imperius Rex, Urban Cowboy) is quickly back to work with a headling role in The Lights, a new sci-fi drama from South Korean director Bong Joon-ho (The Carpet Makers, An Eye For An Eye). He will play an astronaut preparing for a mission to Mars with strange results. Bill Skarsgard (Supercrooks, Free the Chicago Seven!) will co-star in the project as an astronaut from a previous mission. Sammy-Jo Ellis (Among Us, Flick) penned the film.
