Reaction: Clearly this film could not find an audience overseas to save its life, dooming any chance it could have had at financial success.

"It's truly invigorating to observe a writer of Conn's stature finally blossoming. McAvoy, a face we haven't seen in a while, proceeds along his role as if it was a walk through a park. Yet, it's Gillian Jacobs who truly takes us by surprise, revealing a more dramatic aspect of her acting to decent results. Despite these highlights, the film ends up feeling like a stereotypical indie movie, with a plot that feels recycled, leaving much to be desired." - Gordon Sheffield, London Times

"While I think the film loses steam in the end with a certain real-world situation and Alex Conn should've let someone else direct what I receive to be a good show of goodwill for his future. Conn writes an interesting film that plays to some of his tired true sensibilities. But if it wasn't for his duo leads (mainly Gillian Jacobs who shows a whole new side of herself in this), this probably would have been another forgettable film." - Hayden Augustine, Cinemablend

"James McAvoy and Gillian Jacobs do what they can with half-baked, under-developed show biz indie movie stereotypes. What little story there is boils down to cliches and the occasional nonsequitor. Maybe that's too harsh. It actually started out decent with a nice, complicated, jealously-laced relationship between McAvoy and Jacobs, but it completely unravels by the end with the 'Weinstein' stuff coming completely out of nowhere to end the film with a thud. Writer-Director Alex Conn got in his own way and lost his focus on this one." - Dave Manning, Ridgefield Press

Rated R for language, sexual content/nudity, drug use and thematic material
