The Pull of the Stars: Harriet Walter (Burial, "Silo"), David Oakes ("Vikings: Valhalla", Cold Skin), Finn Cole ("Animal Kingdom", Dreamland) and Jonathan Bailey (Home Before Dark, "Bridgerton") will round out the cast of the period piece, The Pull of the Stars, which is set during the Irish flu epidemic of 1918. Claire Denis is directing the film from a script by Rachel Hallett Hardcastle and Rosie JoLove, which is based on the novel by Emma Donoghue.

Nick Fury and His Howling Commandos: The 1950s-set Marvel Universe production, Nick Fury and His Howling Commandos, has added Lewis Pullman (Eye of the Scarecrow, Bastion), Garret Dillahunt (To The Max, Don't Hang Up) and Nick Offerman (Gas Bar Blues, Troll Mountain). They will play members of Nick Fury's titular military unit: Junior Juniper, "Happy" Sam Sawyer and Dum Dum Dugan, respectively. Roland Emmerich is directing the film from a script by Chad Taylor.

Victims: Wesley Snipes (The Culture, The Fall Guy: Trouble in Tahiti), Winston Duke (Mortal Kombat II, Dragon Ball: The Wrath of the Demon King) and Barkhad Abdi (Shake Hands with the Devil, Agent Game) have joined the Michael B. Jordan-led film, Victims, based on the 1974 Iranian film, The Deer. Snipes and Duke will play police officers, while Abdi will play Jordan's employer. Spike Lee is directing the Jacob Jones-penned adaptation.

Thorne: Aaron Pierre (Brother, Foe), Tatanka Means (Pocahontas, Red Wolf: Wanderer) and Sam Corlett ("Chilling Adventures of Sabrina", "Vikings: Valhalla") have joined Tom Hardy in the pirate adventure film, Thorne. Pierre and Means will play members of a pirate crew, while Corlett will play a British Navy soldier. Jennifer Kent directs the film, based on an original script by Jimmy Ellis.

The Untitled Paul Nichols Project: Jesse Eisenberg (A Life, Bright Neon Lights) is set to star in the meta showbiz drama The Untitled Paul Nichols Project. He will play a struggling screenwriter trying to pitch his project to Last Resort Films. Steve Coogan (Caesar Part III, Greed) will play the president of Last Resort Films, Phil Dolan. Haley Lu Richardson (Titans: Evil Incarnate, The Vacationers) has also been cast in the project as Eisenberg's love interest. Spike Jonze (Calamity, Sweet Tooth) has been hired to direct the film from script by Wyatt Allen (Shoe Dog, Ruthersville Brazil).

Rock Paper Scissors: Charlie Cox (The Boy in the Suitcase, Before You Help), Alison Brie (The Curse of Janara, Circumstances of Time) and Emmy Rossum (Final End, Sinatra) have been cast as the lead characters in Rock Paper Scissors. Surprising not written by Jack Ryder (given their casting), the film was written by Harmony Winters (The Lone Gunman, The Past Before) and Rene Menzie (The Night Swim, The Only Good Indians), based on the novel by Alice Feeney. The film tells the story of an unhappy married couple who take a weekend trip that turns eerie. Cox and Brie will play the couple while Rossum will play a woman who leaves near their vacation location. Lynne Ramsay (Tara's Web, A Lost Sense of Heaven) is directing the film.
