Amityville: The upcoming Amityville Horror reboot has rounded out its cast with the additions of Virginia Gardner (Beautiful Disaster, Fall), Jeffrey DeMunn ("Billions", Marshall) and Dean Norris (Knight Rider, The Andromeda Strain). Gardner will play the girlfriend of Ronald DeFeo Jr. (Nick Robinson), DeMunn will play a priest and Norris will play a lawyer. Vincenzo Natali directs from a script by Jack Brown.

The Immortal Iron Fist: More Marvel characters have been cast in the retro martial arts superhero film The Immortal Iron Fist. Diego Boneta (American Dirt, Resident Evil 4) has been cast as Puerto Rican hero White Tiger and Deepika Padukone (Pathaan, XXX: Return of Xander Cage) has been cast as Bengal. Tony Goldwyn (Oppenheimer, Plane) and Zhang Hanyu (Operation Red Sea, The Great Wall) have also joined the film as a businessman and Chinese general, respectively. Aaron and Adam Nee direct from a script by Jimmy Ellis and Dwight Gallo.

The Pull of the Stars: Niamh Algar (Wrath of Man, "Raised by Wolves"), Dafne Keen (Who Do You Trust When The World Is At War?, No Promises in the Wind), Bel Powley (Stained, A Small Light) and Sonia Ammar (The Equalizer 3, Scream) have been cast in the novel adaptation The Pull of the Stars. Set during an Irish flu epidemic, the film is being directed by Claire Denis from a script by Rachel Hallett Hardcastle and Rosie JoLove. The film is based on the book by Emma Donaghue.

Nick Fury and His Howling Commandos: It was announced that Jay Ellis ("Insecure", Top Gun: Maverick) will play young Nick Fury in his own film. The plot will revolve around Fury and his unit going on a rescue mission to find a war buddy. Milla Jovovich (Red Sonja, Halo 6) and Leslie Odom Jr. (Pontiac, The Exorcist: Believer) have joined Ellis in the project. Jovovich will play the villain in the film, whose identity is being kept under wraps for the time being. Odom, meanwhile, has been cast as one of the Howling Commandos, Gabe Jones. Roland Emmerich (Blood in the Water, Moonfall) is directing the Marvel Universe production, which was written by Chad Taylor (The Beat Goes On, Sam).

Victims: Michael B. Jordan (Detroit: Become Human, Broadway) is set to headline the drama Victims for director Spike Lee (Da 5 Bloods, Boys of the Bayou) and writer Jacob Jones (Idlewild Ranch, Tara's Web). The film is loosely based on the 1974 Iranian film, The Deer. Jordan plays a troubled young man who blames society - specifically white people - for all of his troubles. Donald Glover (The Beat Goes On, Batman Beyond) and Zoe Kravitz (Kindred, Trip) will also appear in the film. Glover will play Jordan's childhooh best friend who took a different path and has a good life, while Kravitz will Jordan's ex-girlfriend who disagrees with his hatred of white people.

Thorne: Tom Hardy (Paki, Judas Iscariot) will star in an original pirate adventure film, Thorne. He will play a British Naval sailor who raises the ranks of a pirate ship after being taken captive. Benicio del Toro (Carte Blanche, L.A. Rex) will play a villain in the film and Emma Mackey (The House of Romanov, Time Out!) will play Hardy's love interest. Jennifer Kent (The Sandman: Season of Mists, The Boy in the Suitcase) has been tasked as director of the film. Jimmy Ellis (Task Force X: Jungleland, Norse: Valhalla) penned the script.
