The Spectre: Adam Goldberg ("The Equalizer", Once Upon a Time in Venice), Stefanie Scott (Shouts from the Well, "The Girl in the Wods") and David Meunier (The Equalizer, "Big Sky") have been announced to complete the cast of the latest DC Comics Universe production. Michael Sarnoski is directing the Nicolas Cage-led film from a script by John Malone.
Duke Nukem: John Cena's Duke Nukem will be joined by Danny McBride (Desert Dreams, Rodeo), Hannah Kepple (The Monster Squad, We Know Where You Live), KJ Apa (Recursion, Newbury Street) and Callie Haverda (The Lost Husband, "The '90s Show") in the highly-anticipated video game adaptation. Shane Black is directing the film from a script by APJ and Chad Taylor.
The Lights: Emile Hirsch (The Hippie Preacher, Free the Chicago Seven!), Kelsey Asbille (Hollow Creek, Hex) and Alan Ritchson (The Oil Slick, "Reacher") have joined Alden Ehrenreich and Bill Skarsgard in the upcoming science fiction drama, The Lights. Hirsch will play the brother of Ehrenreich's character. Ritchson will play an astronaut. Asbille will play a friend of Ehrenreich's character. Bong Joon-ho is directing the film from an original screenplay by Sammy-Jo Ellis.
Amityville: Nick Robinson (Survive the Night, Rookie's Road) is set to star in a new film version of the Amityville Horror story. Robinson will play Ronald DeFeo Jr. in the film, a young man who moves into the house at 112 Ocean Avenue with his family only to descend into madness. Chris Bauer (Batgirl, "Heels"), Molly Ringwald (Bad Things, The Kissing Booth) and Sophie Nelisse ("Yellowjackets", The Kid Detective) will also appear in the film. Nelisse will play one of his sistesr, while Bauer and Ringwald will play their parents. Vincenzo Natali (Tail, The Dead Zone) has signed on to direct the film from a script by Jack Brown (Friday the 13th, We Know Where You Live).
The Immortal Iron Fist: Luke Bracey (Missing Men, Maybe I Do) was announced as the title character in The Immortal Iron Fist back at the Season 28 LRF Comic-Con. Henry Golding (Monaco, So This Is What It Feels Like), Lee Byung-hun (The Magnificent Seven, The Match) and Jackie Chan (Police Story: Case Closed, Marvelous) will be joining Bracey in the film. Henry Golding will play FBI Agent Jimmy Woo, Byung-hun Lee will play villainous kingpin Master Khan, while the legendary Jackie Chan will play Iron Fist's mentor Lei Kung. Aaron and Adam Nee (Band of Robbers, The Lost City) are set to direct the Marvel Universe production from a script by Dwight Gallo (The Punisher: Last Exit, X-Men: Sinister) and Jimmy Ellis (Task Force X: Jungleland, Norse: Valhalla).
Flames: Cameron Monaghan (The Guest List, Julie), Sophie Turner (The House of Romanov, Halo 6) and Alexander Ludwig (Artemis, Hex: The Cult of Cain) are set to star in the horror film, Flames. Monaghan and Turner will play siblings who go on a camping trip that turns wrong when things start to emerge from their campfire flames. Ludwig will play their friend. Bryan Bertino (The Dark and the Wicked, The Strangers) is directing the film from a script by Andrew Doster (Tinseltown, The Last of the Mohicans).
