3. Brothers in Law
The plot of Brothers in Law didn't quite work for me as a whole, nor did Matthew McConaughey as the lead, but thankfully Danny McBride and Johnny Knoxville manage to pull some laughs out of their characters. The writing wasn't bad, in fact plenty was good, but it never felt cohesive.
2. Redhead
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Redhead. It definitely leans heavily on cliche for its twist ending, but the characters all worked thanks to decent writing and good casting, especially Karen Gillan as the lead.
1. Masters of the Universe 2
This sequel was far and away better than the first film. The characters were better written and the action felt bigger and more exciting.
3. N/A
2. Blockbusters
This one appears to be on a corrective path, but one or two hit rounds don't make a whole season.
1. Awards Races
While the blockbuster issues appear to be getting better, but now the lack of awards contenders is starting to become more apparent after six rounds. Between the awards races and the hunt for blockbuster films, the last four rounds of Season 30 have a lot at stake.
