Release: Death and All His Friends Part II

Death and All His Friends Part II
Genre: Action/Adventure
Director: Quentin Tarantino
Writer: Mo Buck
Cast: Christian Bale, Uma Thurman, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L. Jackson, Zoe Saldana, John Turturro, Ron Perlman, Quentin Tarantino, Mo Buck

Budget: $121,000,000
Domestic Box Office: $105,006,932
Foreign Box Office: $115,102,680
Total Profit: $16,055,800

Reaction: The box office is pretty close to the numbers of the first film, but increases in the budget due to talent costs (Bale won a Best Actor Golden Reel Award between films) and increased marketing have eaten away at the profits. If home video sales weren't so strong, this one probably would have ended up in the red as it grossed less than its production cost at the domestic box office.

"If you liked the first film, you're bound to enjoy Part II. It still features all the fight and action scenes the first is known for and the fans are expecting." - Perry Manson, CinemaBlend.com

"I appreciated that this film is more focused than the first film. While its predecessor often felt like a video game, the revenge plot really takes precedence here, giving the film the focus the previous lacked." - Janet Donnelly, Empire Magazine

"The ending feels quite gratuitous, and more comical than Tarantino usually goes with a villain's demise. Tarantino didn't even make Hitler suffer so much in Inglourious Basterds. It really comes out of left field after what is a fairly straight forward revenge action film." - Chris Mears, Slashfilm
