Breaking News

Last Resort Films has announced that like many other Hollywood movie studios, they will be starting their own streaming service. LRF NOW, the tentative name for the service, will initially debut at leasr five original films next season. Each round that does not feature an original film will spotlight a past LRF film or LRTV series on the service. The original films produced for LRF NOW will not be eligible for the Golden Reel Awards since the studio does not plan on giving them qualifying theatrical runs. Additionally, the films produced by the service will be of the low-budget variety, with a max budget of $10 million.

The studio's streaming service will debut at the start of next season with the debut film from writer Malcolm Taylor, brother of Chad Taylor, a remake of the low-budget 80s horror film Chopping Mall.
