In Development

Bastion: Dennis Quaid (Tales of Skyrim: Stormcloak, Without Remorse), John David Washington ("Gauntlet", Control) and James Wolk ("Tell Me a Story", Mercy) have all joined the film Bastion. Quaid will play a prison warden, Washington will play the younger version of the character played by his father, while Wolk will play the younger version of the prison guard played by John Goodman. Paul Thomas Anderson is directing the film from a script by Jimmy Ellis.

Pirate Latitudes: Josh Brolin is completing his pirate crew for Pirate Latitudes with the additions of actors John Hawkes (7 Days, The Peanut Butter Falcon), Rory McCann (The Mask, Metamorpho) and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Lost Planet, Mandingos). They will all play members of his crew in the historical adventure film based on the novel by Michael Crichton. Ridley Scott is making his LRF debut on the film which was adapted by Matt Parker.

Hollow Creek: Iwan Rheon (The Dirt, "Game of Thrones"), Michael Cudlitz (Driven, "The Walking Dead"), Kelsey Asbille (Hex, Scion 3) and Julia Jones ("Nez Perce", Wind River) have signed on to the latest creature feature from writer Ben Collins. Rheon will play a man who posts videos of creatures on the internet, Cudlitz will play a woodcutter, while Jones and Asbille will play a pair of sisters. Alexandre Aja is directing the film.

X-Men: Last season's Silver Surfer: The Power Cosmic was meant to help kick-start the studio's Marvel Universe, which is now set to continue with the studio greenlighting a film based on the X-Men comic series. Toby Stephens ("Lost in Space", "Black Sails"), Jamie Dornan (The Tournament, Police Story: Extradition), David Morrissey (Blitz, "The Walking Dead") and David Oyelowo (Mandingos, Mass Effect: First Contact) have all signed onto the project. Stephens will play Professor Charles Xavier, Dornan will play Scott Summers/Cyclops, Morrissey will play the villainous Magneto, while Oyelowo will play the blue-furred Hank McCoy/Beast. The film will be directed by Alex Garland (Ubik, Mass Effect: First Contact) based on a screenplay by Dwight Gallo (The Andromeda Strain, Born in Brooklyn).

And the Birds Rained Down: Harvey Keitel (The Comedian, The Irishman), Michael McKean ("Better Call Saul", The Meddler) and Charlotte Rampling (The Cape, Red Sparrow) have signed on to star in the film, And the Birds Rained Down. The film will tell the story of a trio of older men living as hermits in the woods. The film will mark the fourth collaboration between director Jean-Marc Vallee (Haute Couture, Decrescendo) and writer Mo Buck (Germinal, Halo 6).

Love: Roar Uthaug (Tomb Raider, The Wave) has signed on to direct an upcoming horror drama from writer Andrew Doster (The Reign of Lady Morgana, Parasite). Additionally, Kate Bosworth ("The I-Land", The Domestics), Scoot McNairy (Crimson, Don't Hang Up) and Bobby Cannavale (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, A View from the Bridge) have all joined the film, which will tell the story of a group of people facing a deadly zombie-like epidemic.
