In Development

The Killings: Diego Luna (The Tournament, Metal Gear Solid 2), Jim Broadbent ("Game of Thrones", Paddington 2) and Callie Hernandez (Under the Silver Lake, Alien: Covenant) are set to round out the cast of the upcoming crime drama about two detectives on the hunt for a serial killer. Diego will play a criminal in Dallas, Broadbent will play a wealthy businessman, while Hernandez will play a prostitute. Alejandro González Iñárritu is directing the film from a script by Jimmy Ellis and Chad Taylor.

Of Rocks and Sand: Grace Van Patten (Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Girl/Girl), Bobby Cannavale (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, The Lady in the Lake), Darren Criss (Midway, "The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story) and Bruce Greenwood (Life of a Champion, Swim Through the Darkness) have joined the modern western drama, Of Rocks and Sand, from director Taylor Sheridan and writer James Morgan. Van Patten and Criss will play siblings, Greenwood will play the father of Sam Rockwell and Chris Pine's characters, while Cannavale is set to play a police officer.

Bastion: Denzel Washington (The Equalizer 2, Fences) has finally signed on to his first project, Bastion, from director Paul Thomas Anderson. He will play a prisoner toward the end of his prison sentence. He will be joined by Joaquin Phoenix (The Host, The Carpet Makers) and John Goodman (Jersey Devil, To the Moon) in the project. Phoenix will play his cellmate, while Goodman will play one of the prison guards. The film was written by Jimmy Ellis (The Second Life of John Wilkes Booth, Control).

Pirate Latitudes: After many seasons away from LRF, the studio's first Best Actor GRA winner Josh Brolin (Inferno, Jonestown) is finally set for another film. He will headline the film, Pirate Latitudes, from director Ridley Scott (All the Money in the World, Alien: Covenant), who is making his LRF debut. Brendan Gleeson (Someone Else, Our Father) and Karen Gillan (Red Sonja, Splinter Cell: Blacklist) have also signed on to star in the film. Brolin will play a pirate hired by Gleeson's character to recover a ship full of treasure. Gillan will play the lone female member of Brolin's crew. The film, based on the final novel by Michael Crichton, was written by Matt Parker (Y: The Last Man, "Gauntlet").

Hollow Creek: The Creature series continues with another film set in Ben Collins' universe of creatures and monsters. The latest entry, Hollow Creek, will star Logan Lerman ("The Survivors", Lucky Luke and Billy the Kid), Jodie Comer ("Killing Eve", "The White Princess") and Demian Bichir (Lost Planet, The Raid). Lerman and Comer will play a young couple who set out to find a swamp creature. Bichir will play a hunter also searching for the creature. Alexandre Aja (Eclipse, Crawl) is set to direct the film from a script by Ben Collins (Julie, Buried Memories).

Hotel California: Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Wishmaster, Planet LV 426), Mila Kunis (Numero Uno, The Spy Who Dumped Me) and Tom Wilkinson (Alan Wake, To the Other Side) are set to star in a film inspired by the song "Hotel California" by the Eagles. Meyers will play a man who visits the titular hotel in the middle of the desert where is greeted by a character played by Kunis. Wilkinson will play a mysterious man also staying at the hotel. Rian Johnson (Mass Effect 3 - Part 2, Knives Out) is set to direct the film from a script by Meirad Tako (Police Story: Extradition, The Refugee).
