Reaction: We at the studio suspect that the Drama sub-genre hurt the film a little bit at the box office. Especially when it comes to the foreign box office as dramas are not films that travel well between different cultures.

"Love handles the tone of a serious zombie film pretty well. While not made on the grand scale of a film like The Last of Us, director Roar Uthaug portrays the violent scares of Andrew Doster's script pretty well." - Stan Kyle, Omaha World-Herald

"After the strong opening scenes I had high hopes for the rest of the film. Unfortunately, Love ended up following the usual steps of the genre after that." - Manny Duncan, San Antonio Express-News

"Love probably doesn't add a whole lot to the zombie genre, but it is fairly well plotted and understands its primary genre. The characters are a mixed bag, but Bosworth and McNairy are both strong in their roles (the supporting cast does not fair nearly as well)." - Richard Park, Globe and Mail

Rated R for strong bloody violence, language, sexual content and nudity.
