In Development

Audible: Asante Blackk ("When They See Us", "This Is Us"), Marlee Matlin (CODA, "Switched at Birth"), Rutina Wesley ("Queen Sugar", The Perfect Guy) and Julianne Nicholson (Togo, Who We Are Now) have joined the inspirational true story, Audible, about a deaf high school football team. Matlin will play the deaf wife of Mahershala Ali's character, the coach of the team. Blackk will play their son. Wesley and Nicholson will play mothers of two of the team's players. Chloe Zhao is directing the film from a script by Jimmy Ellis and Chad Taylor.

Thrill of the Kill: Harley Quinn Smith ("Cruel Summer", Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Lucas Jade Zumann (Lovestruck, To the Stars) and Lily-Rose Depp (Strangers Friends, Voyagers) will fill out the cast of Cary Joji Fukunaga's latest thriller, Thrill of the Kill. Alex Conn penned the film.

EarthBound: Coming off his Best Actor GRA nomination, Paul Giamatti (Whaling, Kazaria) has signed on for a supporting role in the Nintendo video game adaptation, EarthBound. In the film he will play the leader of a cult of extremely happy people. JD McCrary ("The Paynes", Little) and Jeremy Ray Taylor(Peter and the Shadow Thieves, Genetic Descent) have also been added to the cast, playing two of the youngsters who go on a quest to save the planet. Duncan Jones is directing the film from an adaptation by Joshua Collins.

Broadway: Years after missing out on co-starring in Inglourious Basterds, Adam Sandler (A Reuptation, Oh Deer) is finally set to work with director Quentin Tarantino after being cast in the noir/gangster film. He will play a major figure in the Jewish mafia. Also joining the star-studded cast will be Vin Diesel (Superman: The Last Son of Krypton, Gargoyles), Josh Hartnett (Wonder Woman, October Crisis) and Rihanna (Ocean's 8, Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets). Diesel will play a hitman-for-hire who works outside of the mafia channels. Hartnett will play a private investigator, while Rihanna will play a woman running a numbers operation. The film was written by Chad Taylor.

Arizona: Tessa Thompson (Y: The Last Man - Part 2, Aliens vs. Predator: The First Hunt), Kristen Stewart (Spencer, Neuromancer) and Mackenzie Davis (Task Force X, Y: The Last Man) have been cast to headline the latest film from director Jason Reitman (Maple Leaf, Ghostbusters: Afterlife). The film tells the story of a group of friends in search of diamonds in Arizona. Jacob Jones (Gathering of the Wolves, Emergency) has written the original screenplay.

Gracie: Sydney Sweeney (Poison Ivy, Fear of the Dark) is looking to follow up her acclaimed performance in Poison Ivy with another leading role in a film penned by Roy Horne (Wolf, Wish You Were Here). In the film, she will play a high school senior trying to move on from a traumatic experience. Mark Pellington (Perfect Blue, Bunny Lake is Missing) will direct the film, which is based on the 2013 South Korean film, Han Gong-ju.
