Northrock
Genre: Fantasy/Adventure

Writer: Jimmy Ellis
Cast: Jamie Dornan, Emma Watson, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Paul Bettany, Andrew Lincoln, Sean Bean, Sam Claflin, Roman Griffin Davis, Christine Bottomley

Domestic Box Office: $86,349,446
Foreign Box Office: $190,000,012
Total Profit: $15,050,190
Reaction: A second consecutive film has made the vast majority of its money from the foreign box office. Original fantasy stories can be hit-or-miss at the box office (mostly miss), so the studio is happy this managed a bit of profit.
"World building in fantasy is no easy task. That said, this script by Jimmy Ellis does a pretty efficient job of setting up the world and its characters. The character development does drag on a bit, most likely in the aim of stretching the story over multiple films, but at least the bulk of the cast pull off fairly interesting roles." - Frank Estelle, Boca Breeze
"Northrock feels like another one of those films that sets up a lot but doesn't pay much off. It's an obvious ploy for a sequel, and one that I have grown a bit weary of in recent years with so many failing films setting up a future that won't happen. The best thing Northrock has going for it is its cast and its world-building, but the story felt too unresolved to recommend." - Gregory Fletcher, Los Angeles Times-Journal
"Move aside Game of Thrones, there's a new fantasy property that's gained my attention. Northrock has an amazing cast who perform well past their limits with Vogt-Roberts at Best Director winning level. Now, this may be a slow & somewhat dull setup for more interesting developments in the future, it makes me bummed I have to wait to see where it all goes. But it won me over with new insights and new stakes a story like this make their own." - Robbie Villanueva, Time
Rated PG-13 for violence and thematic material
