Word has it that one of the studio's earliest writers, Jack Ryder, is going back to work for the studio with a new film due out next season. New word on the project yet, so everyone will just have to keep an eye out.

When the studio announced the Writing Assignment Packages, projects were getting swiped up like gangbusters from interested writers. Based on the number of packages optioned, the studio does not expect most will end up in production (in fact, a handful have already expired with no movement made on the projects), but is hoping the first few that do make it that far will be released within the next few seasons.

The acclaim of his FX TV series, "The Bear," clearly has caught the attention of LRF writers and now Jeremy Allen White is the possibly the single most sought-after talent on the planet. He has lined up five starring roles already over the next three seasons, and more offers are expected to keep coming in for the actor.
