Reports from the Last Resort Films offices claim that Margaret Qualley's role in Halo is being left on the cutting room floor. She was set to play Miranda Keyes, daughter of Clive Owen's character. Director Gareth Edwards has reportedly made the decision to cut her scenes as they took the focus away from Alexander Skarsgard's Master Chief. If the movie does well enough for a sequel, you can expect to see the character appear. Miranda Keyes not only appears in later games in the Halo series, but Qualley is also contracted for sequels.
