Rodeo: Jon Bernthal (An Eye For An Eye, Alien: Out of the Shadows), Steve Zahn ("The White Lotus", 8-Bit Christmas), Brec Bassinger ("Stargirl", 47 Meters Down: Uncaged) and Stacy Keach (Gotti, "Man with a Plan") will round out the cast of director Taylor Sheridan's latest western film, Rodeo. Bernthal will play the ex-husband of Kate Mara's character. Zahn will play a rodeo clown, Bassinger will play a beauty queen, while Keach will play the father of Tom Cruise's character. Keach's role was original written for Jonathan Banks, but he was unable to appear due to scheduling conflicts with Winter's Displeasure. Dwight Gallo penned the original script.

Supergirl: John Bradley ("Game of Thrones", Moonfall) and Radha Mitchell (Jonestown, Resident Evil 2) have reportedly been named as part of the cast of Darren Aronofsky's Supergirl. Bradley will play a criminal. Meanwhile, Mitchell will play Eliza Danvers, who is Supergirl's adoptive mother in the comics - no word if the script is sticking with that origin though. John Malone penned the film, which is a spin-off of his Superman films.
The Black Cat Strikes Again!: Lou Diamond Phillips (The Black Cat, "Prodigal Son") is officially set to reprise his role as the former cat burglar father of Ana de Armas' Black Cat in the upcoming sequel to The Black Cat. Also signing on to join the film are Michael Cera (Excellent Women, The Mask) and Breckin Meyer (Happily, Unpregnant) as a pair of less than stellar superpowered individuals. Karyn Kusama is back to direct the film, once again from a script by Chad Taylor.
Hope, Sadness and Anger: Guy Pearce (The Crucible, The Mutation), Cate Blanchett (The Water Cure, For Those Who Don't Read Me) and Sunny Suljic (An Eye For An Eye, Drawing Dion) have been cast in the newest directorial effort from writer Meirad Tako (If We Know the Right Way). The trio of stars will play a family trying to deal with their fair share of issues. Ron Howard (The Beatles, Hillbilly Elegy) is on the project as a producer.
Gathering of the Wolves: Anne Hathaway (INFINITY, Eileen) and Chris Pine (Klondike, McCain) are set to headline a fantasy/supernatural werewolf film, Gathering of the Wolves, for writer Jacob Jones (Emergency, Golden Girl) and director Tim Burton (The Phantom of the Opera, Mask of the Phantom). Hathaway will play a woman looking to start a family, while Pine will play a scientist with a fascination with wolves.
