In Development

The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars: Eddie Marsan (Batman: Arkham, Batman: Caped Crusader) and Iggy Pop (Twisted Metal, Art House) have signed on to supporting roles in the David Bowie album-inspired film. Marsan will play a friend of the title rock star, while Pop will voice the other-worldly "Starman" who warns Earth of its impending fate. David Fincher is directing the film from a script by Meirad Tako.

Free Spirit: Sunny Suljic (An Eye For An Eye, Drawing Dion), Ellen Wong ("GLOW", The Circle) and Richard Kind (Suburbicon, The Stand In) will round out the cast of the supernatural family comedy Free Spirit. Acclaimed animation director Pete Docter is making his live-action debut on the project, based on a script by Chad Taylor.

Rodeo: Glen Powell (Gears of War, The Fall Guy), Danny McBride (Sleeping Beauties, "The Righteous Gemstones"), Lynn Collins (Hunter, Beneath Us) and Peter Weller (Namor the Sub-Mariner, Star Trek Into Darkness) have joined Tom Cruise and Kate Mara in director Taylor Sheridan's latest film, Rodeo. Powell will play Mara's younger brother, a rising star on the rodeo circuit. Collins will play a horse trainer, who also happens to be the Cruise's ex-wife. McBride will play Collins' new husband, while Weller will play the rodeo's general manager. The film was written by Dwight Gallo.

Knievel:
Melissa Benoist (Rainbow Six, The Arrival), Terry O'Quinn (New Life, The Black Cat) and Dan Bakkedahl (Action Point, The Starling) have signed on to appear in Taylor Kitsch's directorial debut, a biopic of famed daredevil Evel Knievel. Benoist will play Knievel's wife, while O'Quinn will play her father. Bakkedahl, meanwhile, will play Caesars Palace CEO Jay Sarno, who allowed Knievel to jump the fountain in front of the casino. Matt Parker penned the biographical film.

Supergirl: Ted Danson (Hearts Beat Loud, "Mr. Mayor"), Gary Sinise (Joe Bell, I Still Believe) and Skyler Gisondo (Licorice Pizza, "The Righteous Gemstones") have joined the latest DC Comics Universe film, Supergirl. Danson will play a morally and ethically questionable media mogul, Gisondo will play his son, while Sinise will play a US military general who finds himself conflicted by the increasing alien presence on Earth. Darren Aronofsky is directing the blockbuster hopeful from a script by GRA-winner John Malone.

The Black Cat Strikes Again!:
To kick off Season 22, Ana de Armas (Mexican Gothic, Kansas City) is set to be back as the Black Cat in another Marvel Universe adventure. This time she will be joined by the likes of Vince Vaughn (Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, One for the Ages) and Diane Kruger (Cape Torment, The Child Martyr). Vaughn will play crime figure Wilson Fisk, known to comic audiences as the Kingpin, while Kruger will play a mercenary known as Silver Sable. Karyn Kusama (The Black Cat, Rachel Rising) is back to direct once again from a script by Chad Taylor (Run For Your Life, Gambit: District X).
