Ziggy woke up in the studio, he cursed the world off and smash the mug near him. He's pissed off, the great performance he had was just a dream. He punch himself in desperation before Weird (Robert Sheenan) and Gilly (Dominic Monaghan) came and stop him from hurting himself. Weird assure him that everything is going to be alright. If they put more effort for their next album, he believe that they will succeed "Or dead on the street" add Gilly cold, Gilly doesn't buy Weird's positivity that he felt unreasonable.

Ziggy got up and go without a single word, Weird try to stops him for they must quickly record the new song he just made but he was stopped by Gilly.

Ziggy meets Mick Bolder (Eddie Marsan), his friend. He has a show tonight and give an opportunity for a failed musician like Ziggy to open for him. Ziggy take some coke and some marijuana, he took a little bit too much. In his high state, he heard a voice and a silhouette on the sky, it looked like a man stand on nothingness, Ziggy think of it as the Starman (voice of Iggy Pop). Starman talked to Ziggy that he chose him to tell the population of earth that the earth will be over in five years, so Ziggy must convince them to follow him as their prophet.

His high state was distubed by one of the crew that touch his shoulder to tell him that the show will start in fifteen minutes, Ziggy looked back before going in but the Starman is no longer. While waiting for the call Ziggy thinks about the message and have a little jam with his guitar until his time comes.

When he get on the stage everyone is silence, the other instrument player are looking at each other cause Ziggy and them didn't have any conversation about the song. "One, Two, Three, Go!" Ziggy screamed and start to play "Five Years" alone with his electric guitar. The audience looking at him strangely, Ziggy is too emotional for their liking but they can still have fun when the other crew member catch up and improvise their part, it was a somewhat successful night for Ziggy and it made him believe that he is the messiah.

After the show he had more drug party for himself with Mick and his crew, the next day, he spread the news, the shattering news! To his close friend even though he doesn't even know what their real names are. It's either Weird is also high or something, he believed what Ziggy said but not for Gilly, he calmly said that Ziggy is just too high and told them that he rather not working with them for the day and walk out. Today he is a little bit upset, he just broke up with his Girlfriend cause she was cheating on him with a rival band's vocalist.

It was a saturday night, it's the time for the lovebirds to be together, Gilly sits on the bench while watching the loverbirds that come and goes. The song "Soul Love" starts playing when he starts thinking about Ziggy's news, what if his broke up is one of the evidence, what if everything is going to be over in five years, his sudden crisis made him believe of Ziggy's message, he think he's crazy but he doesn't care and he run back to the studio as fast he can.

Ziggy wrote an album just in one day, it was a miracle, the Album was finished, the Album recording session is accompanied by "Moonage Daydream". The album was a hit! Critically and Commercially and just in time, they are on tour. The album was unique, it was not just a song more like a holy scripture with fantastic tale and preaches for the masses.

It was dark, the song "Starman" is playing on the background quietly, Ziggy woke up in dizziness, he glance left and right, naked males and females laying on the bed, the previous night's event made his head hurt when he tries to remember it, one of the female woke up and grab his hand she called him the prophet, he take her hands off and quickly get out.

His head starts to be filled with confusion and questions it was accompanied by the song "Lady Stardust" he quickly get into existential crisis and he stab his hand with a fork to make sure everything is real or not and the pain made him realized that everything is real and now he's no longer a failed musician and more than a rockstar, he's the prophet! He's going to save everyone on earth.

He starts to get more obnoxious from time to time, "Hang On to Yourself" was played while he had another drug party with his groupies, while Weird and Gilly are looking at him from afar, his spending is unbearable, he acts like they are his servant. After the party is over and Ziggy in his hangover, Weird and Gilly talk to him and how they felt it is out of the limit, Ziggy is just smile and laugh at them and told them that he is the prophet and they cannot do anything about it but not for long, Ziggy was kicked out cause the building was the band's house and not just Ziggy's.

When Ziggy was outside, a fan (Meirad Tako) wearing a Saladine Sane t-shirt approached him and asked him for an autograph, Ziggy is pissed off because of Weird and Gilly's attitude towards him and he released it to the fans and beat him up till the poor man pass out with bruishes all over his face. Ziggy stand up and starts singing "Suffragette City" while walking and dancing on the street in his craziness inside his brain.

That night, with another high dose of cocaine he meets the Starman again and he told him that he's about to finish his task and just one more show, he will save all of humanity from the disaster that will happen to earth.

On the other hand, Weird and Gilly is talking seriously, we cannot hear what the are talking about but their face tells everything, it was a sinister's face with sinister's plan. Their smiles is haunting.

The last show is started and Ziggy played "Star" for the audience, Weird and Gilly smile to each other when Ziggy step forward towards the audience, the board below Ziggy is loosen and when he stepped on it, it brakes, the stage was made to be higher than any usual band stage as the symbol that Ziggy is a Prophet, and Ziggy fell free the film black out when Ziggy hit the concrete.

The film re-opened, it was an all black room and just Weird and Gilly torturing Ziggy by crushing his sweet hand while singing "Ziggy Stardust" it's so scary especially with Ziggy's scream as the company song and it fade away again.

Ziggy woke up in a hospital bed, he wonder's how long he has been pass out he think about the show wgere he failed, he glance to the right looking at the calendar, he is in shock it has been five years since his last show, he is sweating hard, he realized he just failed his task, the lamp is suddenly died. His heart is beating fast, the door is open, the room on the other side of the door looks so bright and blinding, from it came in a silhouette, the Starman come to visit him. His sweat is unbearable, he is scared. The silhouette sit on the side of the bed, Ziggy see right to his eyes, a menacing eyes, a frightening red eyes, it whisper "You failed" over and over again.

The room starts to shake, the radio is quietly broadcasting a news that several natural disaster is coming and it would be the end of the world, The menacing red eye still tell him that he failed. He screams in terror but he cannot move, the room start shaking harder.

The film black out when the red eyed Starman tells Ziggy that he and his world is over. The song "Rock 'n' Roll Suicide" fade in slowly as the outro and shows some footage of disaster that is coming to earth. At the end of the footage we can see the Starman walk on nothingness and away from earth.
