Has Last Resort Films found its next huge franchise? Studio president Phil Dolan sure hopes so. New writer Roy Horne, who is about to make his debut with the soon to be released
Perfect Blue, has written an adaptation of the Disney animated series
Gargoyles. Not only that, but Horne has already plotted out two sequels, clearly hoping the first is a hit. The studio is set to spare no expense on the hopeful franchise and has hired Gore Verbinski (The Lone Ranger, A Cure for Wellness) to direct and produce the first film (with options for sequels).
Gargoyles is set for release next season.
