Reaction: The profits here are incredibly minimal. In hindsight, the costs were too high for the subject matter. Liam Neeson commands a high salary these days based off of his award-winning turn in The Prisoner as well as his action films outside of LRF, and the budget was further raised based on shooting on-location in South Africa and Australia (with extensive construction to make it look more African). All in all though, the film made a profit - so no complaints there.

"Post-Taken, Liam Neeson doesn't get a lot of these serious roles he has long excelled at. Here he is great as the conflicted and troubled UN commander trying to keep the peace during a tumultuous time and place." - Desmond Rodgers, TIME Magazine

"Yes, Neeson is great, but he is ably supported by a top notch supporting cast and the sure-handed direction of the highly underrated Bennett Miller." - Henry Stewart, Chicago Sun-Times

"The topic of the Rwandan genocide has been turned into better films, but this is still a solid film thanks to the intriguing script from Halo: ODST writer Dominic Wilkins." - Matthew Ellis, USA Today
