Reaction: Finally a profitable film headlined by Michael B. Jordan. Although it really doesn't do much to negate his recent box office poison status since this was the third film in a franchise and it was the least profitable film of the series so far, and grossed less at the worldwide box office then the previous entry.

"It would probably be pretty difficult to make a terrible Grand Theft Auto film at this point. The franchise is just so much fun, like an even more over the top, R-rated Fast and Furious film. Even though San Andreas is probably the least interesting film in the series so far, mostly due to a bland lead character played by Michael B. Jordan, it's still a fun ride." - Andy Lewis, Cincinnati Enquirer

"Talk about a schizophrenic film series... The first film was simply okay, Vice City was fantastic, while this film was a little less than okay. The lead characters were more annoying than entertaining, with the smaller supporting characters frequently stealing the spotlight from them." - Glenn Howard, Total Film

"While a bit more all over the place than the other films in the GTA series, San Andreas is still a recklessly fun film with an abundance of violence, action and abhorrent behavior." - Shawn Moseby, Fresno Bee

Rated R for graphic violence, pervasive language, drug content and some sexual references.
