A curse was broken, a surprise box office hit emerged, and Anthony Hopkins traveled back in time to do something. Here's The Roundup....
3. Michael B. Jordan
Finally, the curse is broken. Michael B. Jordan has starred in a movie that didn't tank at the box office. After the box office failures of Dishonest, Bonnie and Clyde and High Society, Jordan finally has a success on his hands - even if it is a film that is part of a successful series already.
2. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Good, but not great. I liked Vice City a lot more, but San Andreas was probably a little bit funnier.
1. Blackbird
Great film, plain and simple. It not only was a great directorial vehicle for Chan-wook Park, and it provided a good leading role for Jake Gyllenhaal to stretch his non-Batman acting muscles.
3. Michael B. Jordan
Yes, that's right, I made Jordan #3 in both the Top 3 as well as the Bottom 3. Why, you ask? Well, he's started to bug me. Not only has he joined the cavalcade of actors that talk nonstop about their politics (Even if I agree with their political opinions, I don't think actors should be using their platform for such purposes), but I also just don't think he really added much to the film outside of name recognition.
2. Hugh Jackman
Can we stop acting like Jackman is tough? He was a terrible Wolverine, not only because he looks nothing like the comic character (in fact, he's a foot taller than the character). He's a song and dance man, people, not an intimidating man of action.
1. Driving Around the Time
I honestly have no idea what happened in this film.
