"Sometimes when a film is autobiographical, story structure becomes something of an afterthought. This is the case with Letter to Myself, however, the emotional components help off-set this issue and preserve a good, but not great film." - Jason Helm, New York Observer

"Lucas Hedges and Elle Fanning once again show that they are arguably two of the most talented actors of their young generation. Hedges runs the gamot emotionally, while Fanning provides is quite ethereal in the film." - Perry Manson, CinemaBlend.com

"Letter to Myself alternates between thoughtful and depressing, developing into a melodramatic teen drama. The film is anchored by some of the best young actors in Hollywood, who are able to keep the characters from becoming cliche, and keep them likable despite some of their actions". - Reggie Dunn, Sacramento Bee

Rated R for language and thematic material
