In Development

Justice League International: Before he shoots The Stand, Taylor Kitsch (Outlaw Country, The Creature: The Beginning) will return to the DC Comics Universe as Hawkman in Justice League International. He will be joined by Jessica Biel (Hawkman, White Jazz) returnin as Hawkgirl, Mahershala Ali (Mona Lisa, Booster Gold II: The Booster Gold Story) as Martian Manhunter, and Avan Jogia ("Ghost Wars", The Outcasts) will take over the role of the second Blue Beetle (Jaime Reyes). Michael Bay directs from a script by APJ, Chad Taylor and D.R. Cobb.

The Stand: The latest Stephen King adaptation has added Emma Roberts ("Scream Queens", Little Italy) as college student Frannie Goldsmith, Taran Killam ("Single Parents", Night School) as the simple Tom Cullen, Michael Caine (King of Thieves, Going in Style) as professor Glen Bateman, and Christopher Abbott (The Lady in the Lake, First Man) as musician Larry Underwood. JJ Abrams is directing the film from a script by Matt Parker.

Halo: The Fall of Reach: Clive Owen (Halo: Reach, Grand Theft Auto) will once again appear as Captain Jacob Keyes, after previously playing the role in the first Halo in Season 1 and Halo: Reach in Season 8. He will be joined in the film by Keri Russell (Free State of Jones, "The Americans"), Dean Norris (Plastic Man, "Claws") and Ciaran Hinds (Gorky Park, Peter and the Starcatchers). Matt Reeves is directing the film from a script by Dominic Wilkins and Mo Buck.

Bioshock: A film adaptation of the hit video game, Bioshock, is finally on its way to the big screen after years of development at various studios. Tim Miller (Deadpool) has been tapped to direct the film from an adaptation by H.G. Hansen (The Queen of the Night, A Little Life). Tom Hanks (Hiroshima, The Post) and Sebastian Stan (Heavy Rain, Femme Fatale) will lead the cast. Hanks will play a business magnate who constructed a utopian underwater city called Rapture. Stan will play Jack, a man who finds the entrance to Rapture following a plane crash.

Newbury Street: Matt Damon (The Osterman Weekend, Downsizing) is set to star in a Boston-set crime drama from director Todd Field (Little Children, In the Bedroom) and writer Lon Charles (Crowley, Stained). Damon will play a man whose life unravels following a tragedy.

The Troop:
Ethan Hawke (Runaway, Neuromancer) has been hired to lead the cast of The Troop, and adaptation of the novel by Nick Cutter. Hawke will play a Scoutmaster and doctor, who leads his troop of boy scouts on a trip where they encounter a viral infestation of genetically engineered worms. Rohan Chand (Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, Bad Words) and Julian Dennison (Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Deadpool 2) have also been cast as a couple of the scouts in the troop. James DeMonaco (Once Upon a Time in Staten Island, The Purge: Election Year) is set to direct the film from a script by T.F.W. Hallowayne (Eileen, Life After Life).
