The Dark Tower II: The Drawing of the Three: Austin Amelio ("Fear the Walking Dead", Mercy Black), Clifton Collins Jr. (Depth Perception, Blood in the Water) and Mark Rendall (My One and Only, Shimmer Lake) have joined the new Stephen King adaptation The Dark Tower II: The Drawing of the Three. Amelio will play a serial killer, Collins Jr. will play a drug dealer, and Rendall will play the brother of Caleb Landry Jones' character. Matt Reeves directs the film from a script by Matt Parker.

Tokyo Rose: Rounding out the cast of the Steven Spielberg-produced World War 2 drama, Tokyo Rose will be Louis Hofmann ("Dark", Land of Mine), Ryan Potter ("Titans", Running for Grace), Hamish Linklater ("Tell Me Your Secrets", Unicorn Store) and Ross Butler ("Rolling Stone", Dragon Ball: The Wrath of the Demon King). Hofmann and Potter will play prisoners of war, Linklater will play a journalist, and Butler will play the main character's love interest. Cary Joji Fukunaga is directing the film from a script by Chad Taylor.

At the Mountains of Madness: Domhnall Gleeson (The Wonder, Kindred), Christoph Waltz (Bunker 17, Justice League Europe), Dominic West (Sherwood, Tomb Raider) and Toby Jones (Germinal, Skyrim II: Dragonborn) have joined Tom Cruise in the upcoming Joseph Kosinski-helmed horror project, At the Mountains of Madness. They will all play members of a scientific expedition to Antarctica intent on learning more about the origins of live on Earth. Dwight Gallo penned the film, based on the novel by HP Lovecraft.

Ghost Stories: Sean Bean (Tail, Red Sonja), Julia Butters (Prodigy, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Peyton Roi List (Fear of the Dark, Walker) and Dylan Sprayberry (Death in the Shadows, Crush) have signed on to the new supernatural horror film, Ghost Stories. Bean will play an police inspector, Butters will play a ghostly girl, while List and Sprayberry will be part of a frame story in the film. Luca Guadagnino is directing the film from a script by Jack Slipter.

Urban Cowboy: Alden Ehrenreich (Namor the Sub-Mariner, Elysian) and Elizabeth Olsen (Coma, Control) are set to star in a remake of the 1980 romantic western, Urban Cowboy. Ehrenreich will play a young cowboy who moves to the big city for work and meets Olsen's character at a local honky tonk with a romance ensuing. Their roles were played by John Travolta and Debra Winger in the original film. Taylor Sheridan (Of Rocks and Sand, Tenth Circle) has been hired to direct the project based on a script by APJ (The Birds, Green Lantern Corps).

Superman: The Last Son of Krypton: Aidan Turner (Lowell, Lady Red), Dakota Johnson (Lock Every Door, Escape the Unknown) and Daniel Craig (Excalibur, Ypsilanti) are officially back for more Superman action in this sequel to the Season 14 blockbuster, Superman: The Man of Tomorrow, reprising their roles as Clark Kent/Superman, Lois Lane and Lex Luthor, respectively. The same creative team is also returning, with Jeff Nichols (Coma, Superman: The Man of Tomorrow) directing once again from a script by John Malone (Namor the Sub-Mariner, Crimson).
