Breaking News

With the much anticipated release of Batman: Gotham Knight rapidly approaching, Last Resort Films president Phil Dolan has revealed some brand new information to the press regarding the future slate of the studio's DC Comics Universe:

  • Dolan has confirmed that Batman actor Jake Gyllenhaal indeed has signed a very lucrative contract that could see him make well over $30 million for each potential sequel to Batman: Gotham Knight.
  • Season 5 will not only see the return of Ryan Gosling in the sequel to The Question, but will also see the addition of Booster Gold to the Universe from writer Chad Taylor. More news should be upcoming on the Booster Gold film as the studio is prepping the film for a mid-Season 5 release.
  • Hailee Steinfeld has been in serious discussion with the studio about playing the Huntress in a film, but script issues and trouble finding a director have found the film's release slate shift a full two seasons from mid-Season 6 to mid-Season 8. Steinfeld will reportedly get director approval as part of her contract for the film.
  • The studio is considering abandoning a sequel to Blue Beetle in favor of  a DC team-up movie.
  • A sequel to recent hit Green Arrow is expected, but no writing has started on the project.
