Batman: Gotham Knight: Director Joseph Kosinski and writer APJ have rounded out the cast of Batman: Gotham Knight with the hiring of Eddie Marsan ("Ray Donovan", The World's End), Karl Glusman (The Neon Demon, Nocturnal Animals), Mackenzie Davis ("Halt and Catch Fire", Blade Runner 2049) and Abbey Lee (The Dark Tower, The Neon Demon). Marsan has signed on to play criminal mastermind Oswald "The Penguin" Cobblepot. Glusman has been cast as Garfield Lynns, better known as the flamethrower-wielding assassin Firefly. Mackenzie Davis has been cast as an international assassin known as Copperhead. Abbey Lee, meanwhile, has been cast as the girlfriend of Roman Sionis (Michael Pitt).

Last Rites: Tony Shalhoub (Pain & Gain, "Monk"), Famke Janssen (Once Upon a Time in Venice, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters) and Christina Hendricks (The Question, Bad Santa 2) have all joined the cast of Paolo Sorrentino's Michael Madsen-led drama Last Rites. Shalhoub will play the main character's doctor, Janssen will play his ex-wife and Hendricks will play a waitress he meets. Lon Charles wrote the original script.

Star Trek: Enterprise: The casting Rila Fukushima (Ghost in the Shell, The Wolverine), Alessandro Nivola (A Most Violent Year, Green River), Arnold Vosloo (G.I. Joe: Retaliation, Silver Surfer) and Peter Mensah (300: Rise of an Empire, "Midnight, Texas") will complete the cast to Rupert Wyatt and John Malone's Star Trek film. Fukushima will play the Enterprise's linguist, Nivola will play a lieutenant, Vosloo will play a Vulcan ambassador, and Mensah will play a Klingon chancellor.

Synthetic: Nick Robinson (The 5th Wave, Blood Meridian) has been cast in Francis Lawrence and Mark Newton's sci-fi film about a pair of androids (Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Karen Gillan) who clone human life. Robinson will play the outcome of the androids' experiment.

Demons: Ving Rhames (Zombieworld, Father Figures), Roselyn Sanchez ("Devious Maids", Act of Valor) and Yaya Alafia (The Nice Guys, "Chicago Med") have all joined the Eli Roth-directed horror remake Demons. They will play viewers at a film screening that is plagued by demons. Gabe Winsor makes his writing debut on the project.

Road Rash: Taylor Lautner ("Scream Queens", Run the Tide), Tyrese Gibson ("Star", The Fate of the Furious), Antonio Banderas (Gun Shy, The 33) and wrestler Sheamus O'Shaunessy (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows) have all joined Robert Rodriguez's motorcycle racing film. They will play various members of an outlaw group of motorcycle racers trying to stay one step ahead of the law.
