Carbon
Genre: Sci-Fi/Thriller
Director: DJ Caruso
Writer: Clive Steinbeck
Cast: Taron Egerton, Mel Gibson, Sharlto Copley, Dave Bautista, Aubrey Plaza

Reaction: Super disappointing. We at the studio are chalking this up as a marketing failure as it is really hard to sell the plot without giving away the twist and there aren't enough explosions to focus it on the SFX. A smaller budget definitely could have helped, but it's too late now.

"While the story doesn't always work, and some of the casting seems off, the film gets one aspect perfect: the casting of Taron Egerton and Mel Gibson. They're both fantastic." - Paul Onkean, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette

"Despite some strong casting, the film suffers from a plot that has far too many lulls for thriller and some very uneven direction and often awkward pacing." - Chris Mears, Slashfilm

"You'll leave this movie feeling like you just got slapped in the face by the ending. It's a courageous move, but one I didn't particularly enjoy." - Clark Davis, JoBlo.com
