Plot: Amy (Emma Mackey) and Bianca (Megan Mullaly) are thrown out of their apartment because Bianca forgot to pay rent. They have their stuff in trash bags, but it breaks and their clothes fall down the stairs. Bianca is drunk and complains, but Amy says it’s on her. She says she just forgot to pay, but Amy says it’d be better if she forgot to buy alcohol for a change. Their lift to move is the creepy neighborhood guy Marcel (Fred Armisen), who reminds Amy she owes him a blowjob. Bianca says she can take care of him and bursts out laughing before the opening credits.
The three friends (Danielle Brooks, Maya Hawke) sit at the park and they ask Shauna about her audition. She says she never got there because her sister never showed up to take care of the baby. They’re sorry for her, but she says she didn’t want to sing with a bunch of old ladies anyway, she’s too talented for that. Shauna asks his Cass reconsidered her abortion and Amy is upset they’re bringing it up again. Cass says she won’t keep it, which angers Shauna, but Amy is supporting her decision. Shauna threatens her she’ll stop talking to her, but Cass says she can’t keep the baby, gets upset and leaves, which angers Amy and they have a big argument. Amy chases Cass and catches her in the parking lot. Cass threatens Amy she’ll run over her if doesn’t get out of the way and bursts out crying before taking off in her car.
Amy enters her new apartment and meets with Alan (Dean Winters), the landlord who is painting a wall. He says he can bring the price down again if she satisfies him and Amy kisses him. During this time, Shaun is at work and is harrassed by J.D. (Algee Smith) who wants weed, but Shauna doesn’t want to give him weed. She starts to cry under the pressure and he consoles her. They kiss agains the lockers and J.D. locks the doors. Alan wants to pay Amy for her services, but she’s angered because she isn’t prostitute. He asks her to come here again later today to seal the deal and laughs. J.D. is going down on Shauna and she thrusts hard and it breaks his nose and he starts bleeding everywhere.
Amy goes in the subway again to sing for money with Marcel playing the guitar. She sings a crude song again and nobody gives her money. A young teen stops to film her and she takes it well at first, but she realises he’s laughing at her. She stop to chase him on one foot as she left her shoe there.
Amy goes to see Amelie (Haley Bennett) and she’s surprised to see Amy arrived on time! She makes some forced jokes, but Amy doesn’t laugh. She asks about her day and Amy says she sang for money in the subway. Amelie asks much money she made and Amy says she had to stop. We see her catching the kid and breaking his phone by stomping on it repeatedly and screaming insults at him and running away after. Amelie tries to know why Amy wasn’t with her friends, but Amy doesn’t want to talk. Amelie bores her to death and Amy reveals that she’s worried when her friends argue, because they only have each other. Amelie congratulates her for making a breakthrough.
Amy is going back home and bumps into Nassim (Ramy Youssef). She says she’s on her way back from the shrink and he supports her for trying to heal her mind. She then bumps into Pretzel (H. Jon Benjamin) crying in the middle of the street because her necklace fell down a manhole. She tries to help and grabs a stick long enough to reach it. Pretzel is all drugged up and freaks out when she gets back her necklace and kisses Amy. Pretzel invites her for ice cream.
Cass went back home and is puking in her bed and isn’t feeling well. She takes a pile of clothes and goes to the laundromat. She smokes to call herself down. She freaks out when she realises she’s bleeding between her legs. She’s cramping up on a toilet and calls Amy, crying. Amy then calls Shauna who’s at the hospital with J.D. who has a broken nose. She leaves him there to go to Cass’ side, which angers J.D.
They arrive at the laundromat and Cass is sitting down on the floor, crying. She says that even the baby didn’t want her in her life. Amy tries to console her, saying anyone can do a miscarriage, even she had one. They wonder what to say to her and Amy says they’ll go to the spa, which makes Cass laugh, imagining all three of them at the spa. While Cass goes to change, Shauna asks Amy if she really had a miscarriage and she admits she lied. She flushes the toilet as Cass puts on a new pair of pants. Shauna offers Cass to come at her place tonight.
Amy goes back to her place and is greeted by an angry Alan, who’s mad she ditched him. She says she had stuff come up and Alan says she’ll have to pay for that one way or the other and they she owes him one.
