Plot: Karen Sisco (Willa Fitzgerald) is assigned to pick up convicted felon and overall inept low-level criminal Glenn Michaels (Tony Cavalero) from Okeechobee Correctional Institution and bring him to the court house for a hearing. Karen's boss, Milt Dancey (Matthew Glave), informs her that Glenn has filed an official complaint with the Marshal Service over the food quality at Okeechobee over the lack of kosher menu options. Karen asks if Glenn is actually Jewish. Milt says that Glenn isn't Jewish, just a pain in the ass using the complaint as a day pass out of the prison yard. After picking Glenn up, Karen finds herself instantly annoyed by Glenn's obnoxious behavior. He asks to listen to the radio, then complains about every station Karen turns it to. She settles on a Cuban music station, which Glenn clearly cannot stand. Karen puts in earplugs and turns up the radio volume for the long drive down to Miami.
Carl Tillman (Nick Gehlfuss) robs another branch of Florida Southern Bank. This time he mixes up his M.O. and communicates with the teller solely through notes he passes her. He is very specific with the notes, refusing any bills that are bundled or are from the bottom of the drawer. The teller cautiously follows the directions, but does try to slip a dye-pack into the batch of money. Carl spots her attempt and pulls out a gun. Speaking for the first time, he tells the teller that if she tries to pull a fast one again he'll be forced to do something violent, and he truly doesn't believe himself to be a violent man. Scared more than ever, the teller quickly fills a bag with the money and Carl promptly leaves the bank branch.
FBI Agent Daniel Burdon (Jamie Hector) does more digging on Carl Tillman's background, discovering that Carl used to date Florida Southern bank teller Kathy Lopez (Dominik Garcia-Lorido). Burdon confronts Lopez, but she insists that she had no involvement in any robbery plan, threatening to charge her as an accessory if she does not tell him every last bit of information on Tillman she can. Kathy does confess though that while she dated Carl, he did ask a lot of questions about the particulars of her job at the bank. At the time she just thought he was trying to get to know her better, but in hindsight might seem a bit suspicious. Burdon grills Kathy on whether she thinks Carl was the man who robbed her. Did the robber's voice, mannerisms or body type remind her of Tillman at all. Thinking long and hard, Kathy says it might have been Carl after all now that she has had longer to think about it. Burdon thanks Kathy for her cooperation.
Based on his interview with Kathy, Burdon is able to get permission to do surveillance on Carl Tillman. He sets up a surveillance van in front of Carl's apartment building and waits for hours until Carl finally leaves his apartment and gets in his truck. Burdon expertly tails Tillman through the city and all the way to a house - a yellow bungalow in Coral Gables - Karen Sisco's house. Burdon runs the address in the computer and finds out about Karen and her position with the US Marshal Service.
Burdon brings his findings to Milt, asking if Milt knows that one of his deputies is dating a suspected bank robber. Milt asks Burdon what he expects the US Marshal Service to do. Burdon smiles and simply asks Milt to introduce him to Karen - he can handle everything from there.
