Plot: At the Florida Southern Bank branch, FBI Agent Daniel Burdon (Jamie Hector) is interviewing Kathy Lopez (Dominik Garcia-Lorido) about the bank robbery, trying to get every last kernel of clues about the robbert. A crime scene technician excitedly announces that they have found a partial handprint on the counter that could be from the thief responsible. Burdon orders a rush on the print to see if they can find a match in the federal criminal database.
Karen Sisco (Wila Fitzgerald) and Carl Tillman (Nick Gehlfuss) go on a date to the horse race track where she notices Sonny Franseze (Tom Sizemore) talking in an intimidating fashion to some shady figures. Marshall Sisco (Scott Bakula) also happens to be at the track and sees his daughter Karen, but keeps his distance as he is on a surveillance job. He sends Karen a text message to see what she is up to. He sees as she checks her phone, but does not respond. Marshall is slightly annoyed that Karen didn't respond, but decides to go back to watching his target - one of the jockeys in the race.
At the Marshal Service office, Karen informs her boss Milt Dancey (Matthew Glave) what she saw Sonny doing at the horse track. He tells her that Sonny is the primary witness for the ATF's case against the head of the Detroit Mafia, Jackie Toccio, so they will probably be told by the ATF to simply turn a blind eye to Sonny as long as he isn't making a big spectacle of himself. Karen asks how they will know if Sonny's making too big of a spectacle. Milt says they probably wouldn't know until it is too late and Sonny's whacked. This makes Karen uncomfortable, but realizes the only other option would be to revoke Sonny's new identity and ruin the ATF's case.
Karen goes over to her father's house to watch football on Sunday. Marshall still wears his old Dan Marino Dolphins jersey. Karen points out that Marino retired in 1999 and it wouldn't hurt him to support some of the current players. Marshall goes on a rant about lack of player loyalty these days, stating that as soon as he goes out and buys a jersey of a current player, that player would immediately request a trade or sign with another team as a free agent. Karen laughs. Changing the subject, Marshall mentions that he saw Karen at the track the other day with some guy. She asks why he didn't say hi. He tells her that he was doing surveillance for work. A jockey's wife suspects he's cheating on her with someone who works at the track. Karen asks if the jockey was cheating. Marshall says that he is - with another jockey.
Agent Burdon runs all the information gathered from his interview with Kathy and the surveillance cameras in and around the bank through the computers. One name stands out to him on his screen: Carl Tillman. Burdon orders up all of the information on Tillman that the bureau has and puts in a request for a surveillance unit to follow Tillman.
