Reaction: It's generally good news any time a Horror film grosses over $100 million at the box office. It's especially good with a relatively inexpensive film like this Friday the 13th reboot.

"The number one thing I appreciated about this Friday the 13th film is that it doesn't ignore any films in the franchise. This is a true Friday the 13th love letter. Allie Marie Evans makes for a great new scream queen, giving a modern take on the 'final girl' role. If you like a cheesy, vintage-style slasher film, this Friday the 13th will be enjoyable."- Tim Givens, Lexington Ledger

"As much as I'd love to praise this newest addition to one of my favorite horror movie franchises, I regret to tell you this is NOTHING new to any fathom of imagination. It's the same stuff you've seen before and even when it has the chance to bring social commentary it avoids it to just repeats what's been done for the ironic 13th time." - Avery Wendell, IGN

"To be honest, I am not big on horror genre, if given the choice I would most probably watch something else over a horror movie. That being said I enjoyed this movie. It followed the old tricks of a slasher movie well, I wished it spend some time with the "Gasp" moment. I think horror/slasher fanatics will enjoy the movie. It definitely won't break into anybody's top 5 but it's a movie a group of friends can watch over and judge the characters actions." - Ryan Hughman, Streetlight Publications

Rated R for graphic bloody violence, language and sexual content/nudity
