And that's a wrap on Season 24. It was an up and down season, but everyone can focus on the always exciting GRA season. Here's The Roundup....
3. Joshua CollinsLet me get this out of the way first - I did not like Undefeated Abe. That said, I also must commend Joshua Collins for trying something new and different. It didn't necessarily work, but it was a valiant effort.
2. Blue Beetle: Legacy
Blue Beetle: Legacy was decent. Not spectacular, but decent. Like the other reviews stated, Christopher Lloyd was the obvious highlight of the film. The film was lacking in the action and villain departments though, and those are arguably the two of the most important categories in a superhero project.
1. Friday the 13th
I was surprised by how much fun this new Friday the 13th film was. It was a good old fashioned slasher film and I appreciated that. Clearly Jack Brown has an affinity for the franchise and it seems safe in his hands for LRF.
3. Blue Beetle: Legacy
This makes the bottom three simply because of its failure in those two departments I mentioned above: action and villain. I actually like Eion Bailey, but he doesn't seem like he has the right kind of swagger for a comic book villain. The role also felt a little under-written.
2. Box Office
This wasn't the worst season at the box office, but numbers were down dramatically across the board compared to last season.
1. GRA Front-Runners
Outside of the starring trio of Natural Selection, I have a hard time picturing any front-runners or favorites for this upcoming GRA season. It should make things unpredictable at least.
