It appears that Last Resort Films has finally settled on a new writer to continue the
God of War film series. Writer Roy Horne (Gargoyles, The Tower) has reportedly won the job after impressing the studio with his vision for how the series will continue following the first
God of War film written by Carl Flimmer.
God of War was a big hit at the box office, but did not a fare so well with the critics - with their common issues pointing toward the lack of character development and emotional weight. The next film is still some ways off, but the studio is reportedly happy to have the plan for the future of the franchise planned out now and in good hands.
