Studio insiders have informed us that there is quite a bit of drama and tension in the editing room for
Alex + Ada currently. The director, Ava DuVernay (A Wrinkle in Time, Lullabies for Little Criminals), is reportedly having trouble finalizing the edit of the film. LRF president Phil Dolan has apparently set a very short deadline for the filmmakers to get the film finished as it is too late for the studio to delay the film since marketing materials have already been shipped out to theaters worldwide.
