Breaking News

Last Resort Films is reportedly narrowing down its list of candidates to take over writing the God of War series following writer Carl Flimmer's departure after the release of the first film in the series. Alex Conn (ID, Queen Mary) was supposedly in talks with the studio, but has decided to pass on the opportunity to write the follow-up. Our studio insiders tell us that the job is now down to writers Roy Horne (Gargoyles, The Tower) and Mark Newton (Neuromancer, Synthetic) as the two candidates sill in the running for the gig. Studio president Phil Dolan is currently considering each of their pitches for the future of the franchise and is expected to announce the series' new writer as soon as a decision has been made.
