In Development

Calamity: The Leonardo DiCaprio-led drama from director Spike Jonze and writers Mo Buck and Chad Taylor has added the likes of John Goodman (Cape Torment, Carmilla), Brooklynn Prince (The Turning, The Florida Project) and Richard Jenkins (The Osterman Weekend, Atlas Shrugged) to its cast. Goodman will play a private detective investigating the disappearance of DiCaprio's character, Prince will play Anne Hathaway's daughter, and Jenkins will play a psychologist.

Black Dublin: Emily Meade ("The Deuce", Siren), Madeleine Stowe ("Revenge", Avenging Angelo) and Frank Dillane (Resident Evil, Purgatorio) have rounded out the cast of the witchcraft themed suspense film. Meade will play a young servant, Stowe will play star Kirsten Dunst's mother, while Dillane will play Dunst's daughter. Sofia Coppola is directing the film from a script by Ben Collins.

Mass Effect: The Shadow Broker: The latest spin-off of the Mass Effect series has added Steve Buscemi (Maple Leaf, Death and All His Friends), Jennifer Garner (Peppermint, Wakefield) and Mickey Rourke (Mona Lisa, Ashby) to its cast. Buscemi will play the mysterious "Shadow Broker", Garner will play a woman experimented on by the Cerberus organization, and Rourke will play a human bounty hunter. Patty Jenkins helms from a Seth Overton-penned script.

Hippies in New York: Lucas Hedges (Outlaw Country, Be More Chill), Timothee Chalamet (Cascade, Made in Abyss) and Saoirse Ronan (Scion 2, Resident Evil) are set to star in the latest directorial effort from actor/director Greta Gerwig (Lady Bird, Missoula). The film tells the story of a group of young people living in New York City in the early 1970s as the era of hippies is ending, paving the way for rock 'n roll and punk to take over the city. Ronan will play a young woman involved with two different young men. Hedges plays her roommate, while Chalamet plays a drummer in a local band. Alex Conn (ID, Queen Mary) wrote the film.

Tenth Circle: Katherine Langford (Burial Rites, Runaway), Viggo Mortensen (Into Thin Air, Captain Fantastic) and Julianne Moore (Bravo/Samurai, Cosa Nostra) have been set to headline an adaptation of the novel The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult. Langford will play a college student who accuses her boyfriend of raping her. Mortensen and Moore will play her parents, who handle the situation in two very different ways. Taylor Sheridan ("Yellowstone", Wind River) is set to direct the film from a script by H.G. Hansen (Rachel Rising, Maximum Ride).

Doppelganger 2: Neill Blomkamp (Elysium, Chappy) will replace Alex Garland as the director for the sequel to Season 6 hit Doppelganger. Natalie Portman (Doppelganger, Bunny Lake is Missing), Colin Farrell (The Carpet Makers, The Death of the Honest Man) and Sarah Paulson (Doppelganger, Hellraiser) return to star in Doppelganger 2, which picks up where the first film left off. Another change behind the scenes will be in the screenwriting department, with Dominic Wilkins (Halo: Reach, The Death of the Honest Man) taking over the writing duties from Mo Buck.
