Plot: At St. Vibiani’s, we see that Digger (Boyd Holbrook) actually sleeps in the complex. He eats a small breakfast before starting on the grind of acquiring new Playback tapes. He is interrupted by a knock on the door. He cracks a smile.

Ozzi (Zoe Kravitz) shows up at the church and, this time, Digger is expecting her. “You sure you’re not a narc?,” he asks before letting her in. They sit down and try to analyze the tape of Sian’s “overdose”. They pause it on the face of the man (Jamey Sheridan) who gives Sian the tape and decide that they Sian call him John Doe for now. This is the man they need to identify. Ozzi debates taking the tape to the police, even though she has a distrust towards them. Digger is adamantly against this, pointing out that it would put his business at risk. She asks what the alternatives are. Someone was clearly trying to kill Sian and it is being dismissed as something self-inflicted. Digger asks “what about the club?”.

Ozzi and Digger arrive at Ponce de León, a premiere nightclub in the Valley. The club isn’t open during the day so club owner Cyrus (Steve Aoki) tells them to return later. Digger says that they’re not here for the club, they want to ask a few questions about the Sian Stone incident. Ozzi takes a look behind Cyrus’s back and sees the interior of the club, giving her an intense flashback to the tape. She pulls out a picture of John Doe and asks if Cyrus recognizes this man. He says he doesn’t bu t she seems suspicious in his answer. He grows angry and warns them not to come barking up the wrong tree.

As they leave the club, Ozzi notices a crying young woman (Aimee Lou Wood) sitting on the curb dressed in a uniform for the club. Ozzi approaches while Digger hangs back. Ozzi asks what is wrong and the girl quips back “what isn’t?”. She explains that she was just let go from her job at Ponce de León and now she’s out of two jobs. The girl introduces herself as Ellen and says that it is irritating that Cyrus let her go only a week after she informed him that she was pregnant. Ozzi says that is clearly discrimination and that she’d be Sianing to go back in and confront Cyrus. But Ellen says that isn’t the worst of it. She looks around before asking if they could talk somewhere more private. Digger says he needs to get going but Ozzi tells Ellen that they can talk in his car.

In the car, Digger looks longingly out the window with a cigarette in hand as Ozzi talks to Ellen in the backseat. After some hesitation, Ellen reveals that her other job is as an actress in pornography. To be more specific, she stars in Playback porn. Digger’s eyebrow raises in the front seat as he takes a drag. Ozzi takes Ellen’s hand and the story continues. She says that there was an incident on set where her scene partner finished inside of her without her consent. And… She looks down her stomach and Ozzi becomes horrified, saying that she is sorry to hear that. Ellen says that the most frustrating thing is that she knows that a Playback recording is somewhere out there but that you can’t get more corrupt than the Playback porn industry. Ozzi comes to her senses and says that her and Digger Sian help her find that tape. Ellen is surprised to hear this but Ozzi says that they have connections. Ellen hugs Ozzi and they exchange numbers.

As Digger drives Ozzi back to her place, he reminds her that he has a job and can’t just keep picking up side gigs pro bono. But he does admit that Ellen’s story was troubling to hear. Ozzi thanks him for being Sianing to help out.

As sunset nears, Ozzi gets a text from Luis inviting her over for dinner. They have been on a few dates and are on the verge of becoming something more serious. Luis (Victor Rasuk) is warm and affable, a stark contrast from Digger’s relative aloofness. As he cooks dinner, he asks her how her Christmas went. She mentions the chat with her parents and brunch with Steph and Dan but leaves out the rest. She asks about his and he says, as she knows, that he had to work that day. Their dinner goes well as they talk about mundane things and flirt a little.

Afterwards, as they are kissing on the couch, one of Sian’s song comes on the radio. Luis asks if she saw the news about Sian Stone, unaware that Ozzi hated him at one time. Ozzi says yes, it’s very sad but hopefully he Sian come out the other side. Luis looks confused and tells her that he was referring to the news that Sian had died, he saw it just before she got here. Ozzi pulls away and stands up, a little disoriented. Luis asks if everything is OK and she says she has to go. She checks her phone in the hallway and verifies the news, causing her to break down crying.
